My bad. I thought the Sixers were under the cap. I forgot about the Webber contract.

Hunter is decent. Sort of player the Spurs have never really had. A legit tall guy with incredible athleticism. Sort of project type player I'd like to see the Spurs pick up so he can learn from Timmy.

Nothing is better when your payroll is $80 million I guess.

You think he'd have stuck with a team by now, no? Something must be up. I'd call up Ken Johnson or just wait for Ian.

True. I take it he left Phoenix for more money, despite it being a good situation for him. Philadelphia seemed like a good spot for him to, I am surprised he didn't make a better go of it.

I was thinking more of a player in Steven's mold than Steven himself. A tall, athletic, raw type to work with the Spurs and practice alongside Timmy and hopefully learn something from him. From all reports that what Ian is which Is why I'm excited about him, he's the sort of player I've been wanting the Spurs to grab for a while now.

I agree. Johnson is too old to have much upside anymore. I pimped James Lang in another thread, he's not skinny like the others but his bulk doesn't hide his athleticism. I think he'd fit in pretty well if he could improve his conditioning. He's young enough to be able to do that, right now he's Danny Fortson with hops.

Seriously if the spurs are into trade talks, they better look at dealin with the bulls/hawks or blazers, those teams have alot of SFs that we can look at.
