I agree, I would rather take the Rockets. Yao gets tired in the later half of the season and McGrady has had many problems. Unless T-Mac drops four 3-balls on us in the final 2 minutes of the game like last year, we could easily take Houston in 5.
The way I see it, the key to beating the Lakers and Rockets is the same: Stop Kobe for the Lakers and stop McGrady for the Rockets. Personally, I think Bruce will have an easier time "Shutting down" McGrady than Kobe, I don't think McGrady's been playing that well lately since his injury and "personal problems."

^Thanks for reminding us of that 13 points in 35 seconds fiasco.

I remember that one...I remember it because it took a miracle(and Devin Brown forgetting how to call a time out) for them to get their only win against us last year...
I also remember whipping the crap out of them without Tim Duncan...
The Rockets were a tough matchup for the Mavs and that's about it...they weren't as good as any of the teams we played in the playoffs.
And they aren't that good this year either...
The Rockets won't make the playoffs.
Write it down now.
I am just not convinced that the Rockets will play the same in the playoffs as they are now. I haven't seen them play in awhile, but I am not sure a 10-game stretch is an indicator of a resurgence or just a fluke. Guess it depends on the teams they played and if it continues.
That being said, I will reserve judgement, but the Rockets only scare me a little more than the Lakers at this point. Still plenty of time till the playoffs start.
I think just about any NBA fan with an I.Q. over 50 realized that a month ago.
