Damn, you guys are quick to jump on somebody.

He hasn't been consistent because he needs surgery on that elbow. But the nights he's feeling good, I'd still take him over Udrih. The nights he's not dressed up, obviously you have to go with the pedofiles dream boy.

Unfortunately for Beno, he will warm the bench throughout the playoffs when NVE wakes up.

No. I meant what I said.

The guy is one of the most feared offensive players in the league. We haven't had a chance to see that with the Spurs, but this guy strikes fear in the heart of most the NBA.

    Udrih scares nobody.

I believe you meant NVE WAS one of the most feared offensive players in the league. While he can still go on occassional streaks. He clearly is not that anymore and he is the first one to admit that.

I'd still take him over Udrih.

Even at 3/4 of what he used to be.

When Beno learns to bring it up against a full court press without dribbling behind his back and letting Marcus Camby strip the ball away, then he will regain the spot.

But till he learns how to bring the ball across halfcourt against pressure, it aint happenin.

he is a very good shooter and he will gain more confidence bringing the ball up if he'll have more minutes

When Beno gets 15 minutes or more (8 times this season; 15, 15, 24, 15, 16, 15, 18, and 26 minutes) he averages 9.6 points on .510 shooting with 3.4 assists. ANd he is very consistent with only one 15+ minuts stint scoring less than 8 points. Not bad and much better than Nick as the primary backup. And you can't say that only reflects Beno's good games where he got extended minutes becuase he hasn't been in situations where he got pulled for his play. Simply doesn't get much play.

He seemingly has a good feel for running the offense. The jury is still out on how he handles the ball against pressure.

i think the best part is the contrast between his game and tony's. if he could learn to handle the pressure better, it would be great to give the team a totally different look with the backup pg.
