wow this has gotten serious hasnt it....?
asswipes, butt heads, and faces!!!! ohhhh my
but any who, i just dont know what it is with this team and the second game of a double double do you all think that maybe if its not fatigue that it is due to lack of interest? i mean i really dont know what you all could mean when you say its mental but its gettin closer and closer to bein a gurantee that the back end of a b2b is a lost and that sucks, but what sucks worse is how many we got stuck with on our schedule. i dont know how many times other teams have them or how many we have had in the past and if this is just the normal amount but because we are suckin ass on them this season that is why we are pointing them out so much but it seems like we got a ty deal on the schedule. but none the less i think the first half of the season was a m ore of a feeling out process of how mike fin and nvx were goin to work out and now we have realized that nick is done and mike is whats up now we or should i say pop is goin to start moldin the gel and the rotation down on the line ups and THE DEE WILL START CLICKIN

Yes but it could mean the difference between Home Court Advantage or not.
See Spurs vs Pistons last year. Also could be the difference between #1 and #4 seed.
In my view HCA is way over rated. Often because of a combination of a bigger focus on the regular season, health early in the regular season, and quirks in the schedule, teams that are jelling in the playoffs have to play higher seeded teams. And in my view, the spoils most often goes to the better team. Yes if two teams are equally matched, HCA is nice. But it is far from the determining factor in any series.

As good as the Pistons have played, in my view both the Mavs and Spurs records are far more impressive given no major injuries for the Pistons, major injury by the Spurs and Mavs AND the Pistons getting an advantage playing in the Least. As a veteran team with no injuries, the Pistons also feasted on many teams that were working new pieces into the mix and/or were injuried.

Am I suggesting the Spurs go all out to get Home Court? No. But they have a deep bench, why not use it. Dunkan, Gnob, and after last night even Parker could use a breather. So why use the Three Headed Monster (Nazr-Rasho-Fabs) and GF Barry/Finley and pgBeno tonight? Keeps the bench sharp, gives the starters a rest. T-E-A-M is what matters. 4-8 is 4-8 no matter how you slice it. I do see the points about when and who they played the B2Bs, but its still a glaring stat and obvious. Esp with Dunkan and GNob.
I agree with all you said in this segment. I also believe Pop understands this. Rasho and Oberto are well rested and will get an opportunity to lean on Yao. The smalls did play too much, especially Tony. But the Spurs are deep enough with young players on the perimeter that it should not be much of a negative.
