no heart?thats abit harsh!specially with it being only the reg season it's too early to insult the heart of the spurs!their still the champs!
I will give Dallas their credit because they did their homework for todays game. They saw what Sacramento did as far as being physical with the Spurs. What I have a problem with is their level of play. They can clearly play more physical and show a higher level of play for the $$$ they are getting paid.
This was an opportunity for the Spurs to send a message to the Mavericks...

NVE' hand might have been warm, but TD's wasn't exactly "microwave."
van exel sucks though
he ed up the offense and missed pretty easy shots
it wasnt worth 4 3s
beno could have made 3 and had like 6 asst
Venting and giving up on your team are two different things asshat!
Ya everyone but Tim did. I was actually pleased with the effort for the most part. It's ironic because usually the Spurs win but lollygag around for periods of the game, but tonight they lost while giving a good effort for the majority of the game.
All this game proved was that the Spurs have a long ways to go if they want to repeat. Nothing more and nothing less.
Honestly, if you look at the team on paper, 100% healthy, you'd be crazy to think that anyone could beat them in the playoffs. They have every aspect of the game covered: A play-making and scoring PG, a big man in the middle, a defensive stopper, an X-Factor, and 3 point shooters and veterans off the bench.
Pistons may have the best starting 5 in the NBA, but the Spurs have the best all around team in the NBA. Problem is, this season, due to injuries and various other things, it doesn't seem like they've all clicked at the same time and brought it together at once. If every player does his thing, Spurs would be unbeatable.
so basically you agree that the spurs repeating this year with everything factored in is less than likely
"the Spurs have the best all around team in the NBA"
great cleavage and homerism, but if they don't play like the best, they aren't the best.
Umm, great selective reading genius. Did you not read the rest of the post where I said that on paper they have the best team, and if they're firing on all cylinders yes they can beat any team in the league, including Detroit. Their problem is that they haven't come together with everyone playing well consistently.
It's not homerism. I didn't say they would win a championship this season. Obviously they have a long ways to go.![]()
PS. Thanks for the cleavage compliment.

I guess you didn't actually watch the game.
I thought Walton left the forum.
Okay then, you've made your call.
I don't want to see you celebrating any Spurs victories from the 2nd round through the Finals.
No worries, Walton is on cue with his post. He did it last year and we won. Now let me go get TPark and see if he is ready to quit on the team sowe can be on our way to a new ring.
Why don't you ever use the damn quote button?
2 bumps in the road and another bandwagoneer falls off the wagon. Tisk tisk..
The weak and greedy always fall off first...
My thoughts exactly.
Because he doesn't feel like it (at least that's what he told me once)
incase you did not notice duncan IS SICK and has had a injury all year
once he gets better the spurs will kick ass and you will say how stupid and stupid you were
what happened to the phrase regular season game?
I didn't give up asshat
Maybe that's why the Mavs have never won a championship if that is their mentality.
Oh well it's just a regular season game, so it.
