It's like one of my favorite great political philosophers once wrote,

but I think it helps me connect with the American
people when I quote him in my speeches.

And plus ham is good for you, I think.

How 'bout the valid points raised in my original post.

1) That Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld didn't lie about knowing exactly where WMD's were located in Iraq;

2) That McGovern intentionally misrepresented the quote he used to try and prove that Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld lied;

3) That if this is the strongest "proof" that could be used to prove that Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld lied about knowing exactly where WMD's were located in Iraq then it's a vindication and not condemnation.

How 'bout you start with those.
