I haven't heard from much him..but I love the song Roland The Headless Thompson Gunner....I think that's the name.
I like a lot of everything. I think the only thing I don't really get into is that stuff where some, I guess you say sings, " skee bop doobie de dop bee bop shap de dea dap" and it's all pretty random sounding.
I hope I can download songs for free, forever. I never listened to music much before that. Now I like some songs from about every artist mentioned on this thread.

Guru, thanks for the info on my soon to be favorite site. Duff you need to listen to Warren Zevon's last CD The Wind it was released just before or shortly after his death from lung cancer you'll be amazed on what a powerful songwriter/musician he was.
I like most anything classic rock
I love
The Beatles
Led Zeppelin
AC DC
Rolling Stones
and some of the new rock is great too i love
KORN
POD
DISTURBED
stuff like that.
That's a good looking list of tunes. I'll be checking them out.
Thanks.
My pleasure. There is just a ton of good new music to soak up. Thank goodness for the folks at KSYM/BootLiquor/KPIG/et al, for presenting much of it, all while offering great stuff from the past.
I don't really have any boundries. I love something out of almost any genre you could name.
However, some favorites include, but are not limited too -
Dave Matthews, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, David Gray, Damien Rice, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Al Green, Marvin, Etta James, Nina Simone, Jamie Collum, Pete Yorn, Tori Amos, Vienna Teng, Ryan Adams, The Verve, Oasis, Blur, Travis, Remy Zero, Franz Ferdinand, Starsailor, The Walkmen, Incubus, and I'm tired of typing.
Oh, and somebody mentioned Johnny Cash earlier, and I have recently been introduced to more of his music. All I have to say if you don't like him is DAMN YOUR EYES!!!
Did I have an out-of-body experience and no one told me?
I like a whole bunch of stuff...although I don't care for hip-hop/rap. Country, rock, soft rock, pop, R&B, classical...
Dave Matthews is the man!
Based on the artists you mentioned above, I'd like to suggest you check out the following, if you have not listened to them:
Tim Buckley (the original Buckley), Todd Snider, the incredible Neko Case, Lloyd Cole and the Commotions (skip straight to the "best of" material on 1984-1989), Steven Malkmus and The Jicks (formerly of Pavement; Ramp of Death is one of those addictive 2 minute songs that I can listen to 5 times in a row), Ted Hawkins (a must-hear), and if you want to get local, check out the Infidels at a gig near you in SA.
Question for you. You seem well-versed in Seattle grunge music, have you ever listened to Love Battery? I watched a do entary on the Seattle music scene of the late 80s/early 90s and caught a clip of these guys. They sound very good.
Speaking of very good, check out the Drive-By Truckers, which is what I am listening to right now; their Southern Rock Opera CD to be exact.
50 Cent - Go Spurs
It's In Da Club except instead of saying it's yo' birthday they say Go spurs go it's yo birthday and the song isn't about In Da Club it's about the Spurs.

50 Cent doesn't rap that, its either "Spurs Fever" by "Self Made Mob" or "Ringday" by some other group.
