Well, when you have Ron Artest guarding you, I doubt you have the series of a life time.
I remember Manu stinking it up most of that series, but not Bonzi.

Who won that series by the way?
haha.. yeah pull that card. this thread topic is bonzi and the guy owned. period. keep crying.
Who guarded Bonzi?
I remember him being jack in that game for 3 quarters, and finally doing something in the 4th, down 35.
Thats what I remember.

yeah we whipe our eyes with the three championship banners.
Not division banners.
Worst. Thread. Ever.
You remember wrong, because he took 2 shots in the fourth and made one of them. He had a 2 point fourth quarter.
Wow, I'm impressed.
Ya'll stupid. Bonzi was awesome in that series. One of the best in memory. Sacramento lost, but Bonzi was a reason for tons of Spurs fans' flop sweat.
Spurs cant afford him.
simple as that.
Bonzi = Ham&eggro
Somebody's dumb enough to pay him but it won't be the Spurs.
do you really think the spurs want bonzi especially after he spit in bruce bowens face 4 years ago? THINK ABOUT IT?
Do you think that the Spurs are like a clique of high school girls that hold grudges? Pretty sure that they run it like more of a business than that. BTW, if getting into it with Bruce Bowen is all it takes to eliminate you as a prospect with the Spurs, then how many others would be counted out? Quite a few.
BTW, the Spurs don't have enough money to sign Bonzi, so I guess this is really a silly discussion.
bonzi is coming back so all of you who think bonzi is coming can forget it. hes not taking the ing mle.![]()
wasnt bowen guarding bonzi? i guess your saying artest is a better defender than bowen which is true.
Go ahead and sign Bonzi to a 10 million a year stupid contract.
That makes sense
If the kings offer him the money he will sign with them. They are the only playoff team that has a shot at obtaining him, and for the same money he will play with SAC over the bottom-feeders. I hope he does stay in SAC for his sake - he won't have a chance of doing as well anywhere else. Might as well stay with Artest and Bibby and try to make something happen.
As I remember Popovich has always had a healthy respect for Wells and I think Wells respect Popovich because he can win and knows how to win. I wouldn't write Wells off too quickly, he could be a catalyst for our team. He plays with an at ude and I think we need a guy like that on our team. We need someone who has talent and I think as the twilight of his career is approaching, he asks himself the same question other veterans do, what is more important, winning or money? Wells has money, nooone can say that he doesn't. I think he wants to win and I don't think Sac town is going to give him that anytime soon, so he might bolt if we make a pitch to him.
Namely Michael Finley. Anyone think him and Bruce don't get along now?
Sac has rebuilt on the fly and done it well. Exactly how much do you think the Spurs can offer him?![]()
artest is better post defender, but not on the perimeter. bonzi was just too big for bowen in the post, nothing wrong with that.
Bonzi is a beast for sure. But don't look for him to land in a Spurs uniform.
I guarantee he doesn't get offered that much anywhere, at least not in Sacramento. Are you just pulling numbers out of your ass? Just like he sucked in game 6.
