Tim Duncan is the best spur of all time... DRob has his chances to win championships, it would be Duncan who would win the spurs three championships. Thus doing what DRob never could.
^ Dont get me wrong, hes a great player, its just u make it sound like hes jordan or magic.

3 Rings, 3 Finals MVPs, back-to-back MVPs, 8 straight All-NBA 1st teams, Best PF ever...and on and on and on....
I love it when Mavericks fans get on here and prove how little they actually know about basketball.
Jordan? - Nobody is.
Magic? - Yeah, Timmy's in that class.
There is no way in Tim ing Duncan is in the same class as magic johnson. You can't seriously think that even as a spurs homer. Comon get real.
He isn't yet - we'll have to see what happens in the next 5-6 years until he retires.
How many rings does Magic have? Four?
Magic has 5 rings.
Duncan is a great player, im not trying to cut him down. But magic has more rings, mvps, and triple doubles. His career average of 11.2 assists per game is the most in nba history, all while averaging 19.5 points and 7.8 rebounds.
I don't think Duncan is at that level, but seems clear to retire as the best power forward of all time.
^ that makes sense, as he and KG were the first to revolutionize the power forward position.
on the court? yes he is. sometimes fans buy too much into the legend of retired players and not realize how good some of the current players truly are.
about the only thing td hasn't done is won two more championships.
Magic Johnson

Considering TD has a few more years I think his accomplishments to this point are definitely comparable.
I'm sorry but um......NO.
So going with that admission, how is the best PF of all time not in the same league as the best PG of all time?
how so? i dont give a about popularity that carries no weight. what exactly has magic done that td has not?
Because in the past the power forward position was used to do all the dirty work(rebounding, defense, hustling). There simply aren't as many great power forwards in league history as there are point guards.
How is Duncan not in that class? He can score, defend, shoot, rebound, pass, steal, he has all the intangibles, and he wins. Plus he makes his teammates a lot better. Explain to me how that is not in that class Mavs_man_41?
who knows? we'll probably have to give him a few hours to think about that one.
Won 5 championships, 3 mvps, and almost averaged a triple double over his career.
Another thing -- Magic won 3 out of 5 Finals MVPs. Who won the other two?
Magic played for most of his career with a top five center, someone likely top 3: Kareem.
you forgot:
exactly. those laker teams had some quality talent all those years.
^ violentkitten, the argument was over who is the more accomplished player, not the first to get aids.
