Lucky for bush he has one idiot that will believe anything.
Again, you forget Wilson's previous statements about Niger. The Intelligence Committee investigation found his statements to generally support what the administration (or CIA) said about Niger and, further, caught him in a lie about the forged do ents.
No one asked Joe Wilson to lie...that was of his own initiative.
Lucky for bush he has one idiot that will believe anything.
I suggest you read the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence report.
There you go again. Accusing our current administation of having intelligence. Convincing someone like you to believe whatever they print is not a brilliant invention.
It was a bipartisan committee, OF CONGRESS, you idiot. There wasn't an administration official on the committee.
The current administration has owned congress since 2001. Congress is a bunch of chimps hanging in a monkey tree. Go shake it, get results.
I think you do a disservice to chimps everywhere when you compare them to the rubber stamp congress.
Your right afro, that was selfish attack. Just trying to get yoni to join us in reality.
So, the Democrats on the committee were also doing the administration's bidding when they approved the report without any comment about their disagreement with the sections related to Joe Wilson's trip?
If you haven't noticed, dems had to bow to red opinion to remain employed for another term. With a little luck, this might change. Notice I say luck? It will have nothing to do with intelligence.
Oh please, Democrats are as vocal as ever.
And, why would they have to "bow to red opinion" to remain employed? That's insinuating their cons uents agree with the conservative position on matters and, therefore, they're willing to compromise their liberal ideologies to get elected.
I happen to think that is true in some cases but, why would the Democratic members of the Intelligence committee keep silent on Joe Wilson when no other Democrat in Washington has?
Besides, Joe Wilson was caught in a lie in his testimony. He contradicted himself. The committee only needed to transcribe his words to the report in order to discredit him.
So "undercover CIA agent" is on Plaime's CV?
You sure can pick and pull things, but can't see the big picture. gotta go, later.
When all is said and done, all the hyperbole has been set aside, and all the conspiracy theories debunked, it comes down to this little tidbit written by Bob Novak:
Joe Wilson’s Who's Who bio outed his wife's name after an unnamed primary source accidentally revealed information about her role. Karl Rove and the CIA's own Public Information Officer Bill Harlow merely confirmed what Novak already knew.
No laws were broken in Plame's name going to press. Not even a tiny one. An inadvertent slip of a position was cross-referenced with publicly available information that Wilson and Plame were stupid and vain enough to volunteer.
This wasn't a grand conspiracy. This was Spies Like Us.
Then this unnamed source has nothing to worry about, right? Why the secrecy?
if I know. Novak claims that Fitzgerald knows the person's iden y and, I figure, if laws were broken that would be in Fitzgerald's purview to prosecute. No?
Otherwise, I'm not that interested in who it is.
Yoni doesn't care about leakers anymore.
There was no crime.
Do you realize how juvenile you sound? It's why I changed my signature.
I have sigs tunred off.
And you don't care about leakers anymore.
Not ones that don't reveal any national security secrets and who haven't committed a crime. No, your right, I don't care about the leaker that told Robert Novak it was Wilson's wife that got him the mint julip trip to Niger.
Get him Chump,
you intellectual beast you.![]()
Valerie Plame's name wasn't classified. Her role as an undercover CIA agent was. Is that really too difficult to understand?
Yes it is apparently. I love hearing this story about finding her name in the WHo's who section of a publication... the story mentioned who Joe Wilson's spouse was..not that she worked for the CIA. It's what most political operatives use..it's called selectively using portions of a story to make a political point..
