Know a good place to get brake work done?

Does anybody know a place that will fix the brakes for free so my dumb father will get it done??? Seriously, the brakes sound like they are about to fall out of the car but he still won't take care of it.

I tried driving 2 days ago. Steering is hard so is adjusting the speed. Driving is like a video game if you lose you die so it adds a element of suspense to it.
