Buenos Aires, though I'll be open to other new places as well.
Good luck
I hope you like it there. Are you moving to Buenos Aires, or somewhere else?
Buenos Aires, though I'll be open to other new places as well.
Do you know which neighborhood?
Nope I don't know yet. I don't know the city at all. What part did you live in?
Belgrano
How often do you go back, if at all, alvarez?
argentina blows... there is no chips ahoy, they have dirt floors, no walmarts, they still use commodore 64s and no ballas.
I don't eat chips ahoy, i don't plan on staying anywhere with a dirt floor, i haven't been to walmart in ages, and i'm bringing my laptop
I'm in the clear, kid.
Every year or every other year.
I just got back a week ago.
what are some things you do/get there that you can't enjoy in the states? do you still have family there?
We do have chips ahoy, they're called Pepitos.
We don't have Tivo...

I see hendrix is being his old stupid self again... good it means I'm back home!
ATX Spur, I live in Buenos Aires too. It would be tough to summarise Buenos Aires in a few paragraphs, so I'll just try and answer the questions people here have asked. For the most part Alvarez is right, as well as Danyel and Marhq. I think you'll find people here are warm and welcoming, I don't forsee you'll have trouble in that sense.
As for the NBA, you'll have to settle for maybe 2 games a month and hope that the Spurs make the finals so that the morons over here decide to televise at least that. Otherwise just hang out here as usual and use live scores. For big games there are a few good places to go and watch, but again it all depends on wether or not there are any good football matches going on.
On the bright side public transportation is great in Buenos Aires, you can preety much get anywhere you want what with the buses, the train, the sub or maybe an occasional taxi (although they are getting rather expensive for us Argies).
If you have any questions about anything having to do with BA I'll be more than happy to answer them.
you have about a dozen Argies in this forum and you ask him about the women over here? is it that you don't trust us to be impartial?Women are B E A U T I F U L over here! All my american friends that have come to visit Argentina have always commented on that. We have beautiful landscapes, beautiful architechture, rich and colorful history... and yet all the commented on was the women
! ... Its understandable
