Good game by USC. They belong in the National picture, and they will have a chance at the le along with about 8 other teams. OSU, Texas, USC, WVU, ND, winner between FSU and MIA, Auburn, etc... it's going to be a fun year to watch.

Ugh dip , even though the marines is a shootoff branch of the navy, Annapolis is known as a Naval academy.

I have no reason to. I don't have qualms with longhorns sports fans. It's when you start making fun of other schools traditions that makes you look stupid. Otherwise sports team smack is totally legit for anyone.

I enjoyed watching Ohio St on tv in the late 70's (early 80's) when I was a preteen & have come to really wish them well but I could NEVER EVER NEVER with any self respect call them my fav all-time single fav team.
The loser of the game on Sat still will have a legit shot @ the BCS Chmpnshp game.
Ironically, I'd like to SC have a great yr as well.
JGW just gives other SC fans a bad image. I know thought that the fickleness & sham of an SC fan that JGW is trying to portray isn't the true image of a Trojan.
Two of my best buds are grads of USC & Ohio St.
They set great examples for each school as far as fans go.
JGW could NEVER EVER be a true Trojan fan with the flipflopping he does.

...the line has nothing to do with an outcome of a game, but obviously the "experts" will draw somewhere they think the money will be even and whether pollsters admit it or not the spread in a game and if a team covers or not (how impressive they win) matters.
