So, if we win this year, would it still be a step back?
You're all idiots...you, your brother Marcus, your dad DAmarcus, and your mom SHAmarcus and your grandma GRAmarcus...even your dog deBARKus. All morons. The Spurs will regain the glory. Go to![]()
So, if we win this year, would it still be a step back?
How the does this dude have 1,000,000 posts?
how the does this dude have 7,952 more posts than 1,000,000?
Probobly because hes been posting since 2003.
so does this guy really have 1 million posts?
Marcus Bryant and Ghost Writer have been posting on message boards with timvp since 1996 or so.
Therefore when we opened this board a few years ago and were transferring over everyone's post counts, we just estimated them at a million and started from there.
You just took the mystery out of it. So in all actuality he has 7,952 post's. I just have one question though, what do you have to do to become an original spurstalk member?
haha ok
No in all actuality he has over 100K posts for sure .. maybe more. I transferred everyone's post counts when we transferred to this software. I just rounded up to 1 million for him![]()
Not sure if that's possible. LJ did that in the beginning for people.
Oh, thanks.

Whenever I see a glass that's half emtpy, I always proclaim it to be half full...
So it might appear to some, but don't sell them short. They're gonna be ready. Besides, Pop is my parents' new next door neighbor and after talking with my step father about some tax sh!t and Kentucky hoops, Pop said that Tim got lots of rest and is expecting a huge season from him, not to mention Parker and a few other unknowns. He seemed upbeat and looking forward to next season, according to my peeps. Then again, he could just be blowing smoke. Nonetheless, I think the Spurs will sort of fly under the radar and kick ass come playoff time. Revenge time.
Having been a Spurs fan since the "old" days and remembering trying to convince myself that Dwayne Shintzius as our big off season acquisition didn't TOTALLY suck I have to say that these are still the glory days to be a Spurs fan even if they don't win the championship year after year. Sorry you can't enjoy it Marcus. You've been a real downer ever since the Aggie bonfire fell over. Have you considered counseling?
I think one of the things we're missing here is that the Spurs had no choice but to take a step back this summer, or risk putting ourselves in cap . Over the last few years our teams were stacked. Our bench could have been the starting lineup for some teams. As such, there was no place to go but down. With that said, however, we're still a le contender.
I agree. The Spurs should watch their money carefully if they're waiting for the next best players. Next summer could be the biggest Free Agency the League has ever seen. Not to mention, The Spurs have some draft picks for a pretty good Lottery this upcoming season.
Schintzius is a joke now, but at the time, it wasn't a completely harebrained idea. He was a big man with supposedly hard-to-find skilz (or, "skills", as we called them), like mobility and passing. Not a bad gamble for a late 1st-round pick.
yeah, if he hadn't been such a lazy he might have lived up to his potential.
Yeah, but imagine if we had drafted Elden Campbell instead. Or Tony Kukoc.
