Unfortunately, this is the fourth time I've run into these bigots in the news. First was the tsunami (God hates " s"/Swedes are "pro- "/Vacation in south Pacific), next was American soldiers funerals (punishment for America's increasing "pro- " acceptence), next was Katrina and now this.
I pray for those they mock to receive the grace sufficient to endure these fools sin while at the same time praying Christ will one day reveal his true self by setting the record straight...
God hates sin, not the sinner...

These fools use the gift of salvation as a club to beat sinners over the head.
I pray God knocks some sense into them before he gets tired of the schtick and knocks the life out...
okay after reviewing obi's link, im 100 percent sure that these s arent nutcases, their the biggest attention s in the world.... they just want to be in the news, and im 100 percent that these people dont really believe the things that they say, theyr just uneducated rednecks who want to be famous... im not even going to waste my time hating them.
It seems like I've heard their antics before, at Military Funerals and it's sick.
there is a group motorcycle riders mostly made up of veterans and such, group of volunteers, that hold a kind of "counterdemonstration" and voluntarily do security at military funerals.
Basically act as a blockade for any disturbances for a military procession. I read about them in the paper a few months back. Good group of guys it seems, who are willing to give up their personal time to ensure the proper respect to a grieving family.

Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.
Some photos of the Brothers, I don't think I would mess with them.
It maybe freedom of religion, but I think it is exactly what Rosie was talking about.

I've seen the Westboro cult on TV too many times. Unfortunately they're succeeding at publicizing themselves.
Why do TV shows give air time to these ignorant people?
someone should really eradicate those ers from the face of the earth!!! I know no one should commit murder, but I think in this case we can make an exception!
Man... I've been watching some of the interviews with the same crazy and seen some of the footage of them protesting and what their signs read... I have to admit, if I was a family member of a fallen soldier, or one of the little girls who was shot was related to me, I'd probably be in prison by now. I would have shot EVERY SINGLE MOTHER ING ONE OF THOSE SONS OF ES!!
Nervermind, forget shot! I would have PUMMELED every single one of those ers to death, and put their kids on foster homes, god knows they would be better off. I believe in freedom of speech, really I do, and after I was done pummeling EACH AND EVERY one of those ers, you could judge me accordingly, I wouldn't protest.
I used to go to school in Topeka and had to deal with these idiots on a DAILY basis. It was terrible.
