Its still December. He and the rest of team are coasting, especially defensively and on the boards. Hopefully this changes soon or come playoff time you can expect another pre-Finals exit. I have faith, though.

btw. Hi chopper
Bascially he is averaging 20 and 10. I could accept that if maybe the Spurs had the best record in the league or something....
Oh, wait....

Trade for Gasol. Gasol+Duncan(I can dream of this).
Tim was said to have come to training camp this year, according to Pop, more lean than in years and in great shape.
There were hopes here for an MVP season in reaction to losing to the Mavs.
The Spurs had something to prove, etc, etc.
Tim is so far from an MVP right now, it's sad.
The Spurs are showing no focus, proving nothing to nobody.
I know to them "it's a job", but why not figure out how to play up your abilities and have fun doing the job", rather than pissing around like they have been.
They get their huge checks, no matter how they play.
boutons you wasn't always like that.
Another thing - Remember the phrase "Good guys can't win" (or something like that?) I don't see no killer instinct anymore like it was in Tim in 2003 or in manu 2005. Gosh I looked at some mixes and it was whole a lot different spurs game. I know it is still early, but the spurs are not playing better they playng worse then in the begining of a season. Where is desire? Mike Finley who should be motivated as no one else.
As boutons said Tim - this lost to teh mavs. I do not know what catching spurs up, is it their age or is it the rutine. So many yeras with the same coach is not healthy unless you've got some strong motivators in your team.
