i watched that game on league pass. Jax was all over the place. Nellies wide open system will enable him to have more games like this.

GS has a nice team for Nellie ball

And idiots like AHF will be all over his jock, as if he'd be able to produce numbers like that for a team with a winning philosophy where he'd come off the bench and be the fourth option at best. Idiots like AHF don't know how to read a stat sheet and know little about basketball other than as a chance to be blowhards. Might as well go to a Britney Spears newsgroup for all they're worth.

Stephen Jackson + San Antonio Spurs = instant championship, fun and profits!!!

    Morons.

I'd be all over his jock because he's already proven (coincidentally with our team - you know, the Spurs) that he can be an integral piece of a championship winning team.

Stat sheets? you and your cracker ass stat sheets. Jax has proven he can produce in the clutch in the NBA ing Finals.

Morons? Let's think about this... you're the one trying to run down Stephen Jackson about his performance from last night while running around in the off-season clamoring for us to give the whole mid-level exemption to a scrub ass Roberto Javtokas that got lit up by Wang Zhi Zhi.

    Who's the moron again?

So is it safe to say the reports of a Jackson buyout were:

    a) premature?

    b) bogus?

    c) wishful thinking?

Really, I'd be fine if we could pick up Barnes or Azubuike from them.

I am still all over his jock because had once proven (coincidentally with our team - you know, the Spurs) that he could be an integral piece of a championship winning team.

Jackson's Influence On Granger The Final Straw?
    21st January, 2007 - 12:14 pm
    New York Daily News -
The Pacers believe Danny Granger can develop into a superstar and they thought Stephen Jackson was becoming a strong negative influence on the young player, which was a key reason for this week's trade.

"That was the last straw," said a source. "They saw what was happening and didn't want (Jackson) to be a negative influence on Granger."

    Sweet!

Now, you chowderhead supporters, explain to me how you think the Spurs were ever going to want this guy back. Use full sentences instead of grunts.

Luckily the Spurs don't have anyone whom the terms "can develop" or "young player" apply to.

If you had been paying attention all this time, you'd know that even before he got to the Spurs originally, Jax was a bit of a problem child.

But between Tim and Pop, they kept him in check, and would do so again.

The only reason Jax is being singled out like that article you cite is because he's not on the team, and JO still is. Gotta have some excuse to get rid of a player, so claiming negative influence appeases the local peons, much like the bull that gets pushed out in the E-N through Ludden and Harvey.

That's okay though, maybe the Spurs can accommodate your rants and bring in Javtokas this summer for the full MLE, then we can have our 5 million dollar 12th man.

When it comes to your basketball 'knowledge', Manny was a prophet.

It's not a surprise that Jackson is doing well with Warriors. Run&Gun offense has always been great for athletic shooters like Jax.
Given Spurs offense, what he has done with Pacers is more meaningfull to what he can do with Spurs than what he will do with Warriors.

According to timvp, the Clippers will now call to trade Maggette straight up for him.
