I is shore that if teh Spurs is played Oberto he wood be real gud center not small ball. Teh spurs dont get teh boreds but if they playd oberto moor they wood. But avery johnson he nose teh spurs defense and he toad the hole leak. Teh NBA lieks small ball that is why there is lots of fights sense teh spurs one it all.
    I agree completely...

yeah thats what we need because the spurs has been on top all these years and now there having problems fans are giving up on them just because we dont have big names.even woai riping the spurs. whats going to happen if the spurs make it all the way and when it all?
Well, it's not right to RIPE the Spurs for the lack of leadership and FO moves. Without strategic, but moderate risk FO management it'll be tough to WHEN it all.

The Spurs centers (like last year) aren't good enough to play "regular ball" against the better teams.
    not true.

regardless, the question is, which strategy will lead to better results, small ball or regular ball. anyone w/ any sense who has watched any spurs games will say the latter. so a reasonable coach would play regular ball and build on improving the team using that strategy. instead, what we have is more small ball and no improvement. there's no consistency in the lineup. there's nothing to build on. this is sickening.

The Spurs centers (like last year) aren't good enough to play "regular ball" against the better teams. And the Spurs don't rebound/defend well enough to play "small ball".
Our record was #1 in the West with Rasho/Nazr playing as our centers during the regular season last year so they weren't that bad! We played against the best teams with them and won! They will never be David Robinson but they were ok. They played well, but did not play at all against Dallass in the playoffs because Pop decided to go small ball to our detriment!

This team is not built for small ball until they get some young athletic players we have to play Spurs ball!
