It's good to know that nobody is reading my posts, though.

    good call on Lucious Harris

Was going from memory...it' good to know no one is reading mine either....obviously good call means I was crediting someone else for mentioning the name...I just didn't remember the details that went with it.

I use my photographic memory to back up my political views, not for POW debates.

Basically, unless it's Jordan or someone coming off the bench due to coming back from injury...it hasn't happened since these lists have been kept.

My bad. I mistook your statement as propping yourself up for having found that. My apologies for my over-sensitivity.

Manu deserves POTW. Sad that it takes a 12 game win streak to get anyone's attention!

Move Manu to the bench and he gets POTW in addition to bumping up his shooting percentages as well as his assist and scoring produciton. , he's in the running for a year-end honor now. Will the CoM congregation want Manu to give the Sixth Man Award back because it's beneath him?

Can he win 6th man of the year if he hasnt been coming off the bench all year?

Good question. If he doesn't miss any more games, it looks like he'll have played 41 games from the bench while starting 36 games. All he has to do is play 37 games from the bench if you choose to believe wikipedia. Haven't bothered to look elsewhere.

Interesting question. I think this is a weird situation. If he continues coming off the bench, there can't be any argument against a sixth man award consideration. And yet Brent Barry calls himself "window dressing" for Manu. I don't know any other way to put it than Manu would not be your traditional sixth man award winner.

I think he will get alot of attention since the current streak is roughly coinciding with his coming from the bench and the resulting boost in his stats. I would guess many sportswriters will connect the dots accordingly.

Hasn't Gordon come off the bench the entire year? I'd think he'd be tough to beat but I really haven't been paying that much attention to the 6th man compe ion.

No, Gordon has started over 1/2 the games he's played in.

The leading candidates for 6th man are Manu, Barbosa and David Lee.

Are those photographs you use to back up your political views a Polaroid from the 1970s?

The 4th qtr against the Kings on a nationally televised game sealed that honor.
