They bother me everytime my emo step brother brings his "friends" over to the house. sometime i think they were making out or something .Im glad i dont live there anymore. Now I live in Germany and the kids here are far worse than the ones in america. This fad is definately anoying. they think chicks dig guys who make out with eachother! and some chicks actually do like it!

Something tells me that you're Emo. The general public knows what EMO is all about.So they will not go for their bull music. They would rather listen to a hot HipHop song than a fake ass Emo Taking Back Sunday peice of crap. The HipHop and Rap maybe fake themselves which alot of them are, but at least its better than listening to a whining bunch of pussies!

im pretty sure the general public would not like to listen to rap. they know what rap is all about: sex, drugs, ass, more sex, how many times they got shot, and more ass. rap is dead. people like rock music, so what if they sing about emotions and what not, if it sounds good they will listen to it. people are getting sick of the "uh ye ye yeah uh uh uh yee yeah". taking back sunday is actually a really good band and they dont whine about cutting themselves and how much their lives suck. if someone wants to dress a certain way and make themselves look stupid, then let them do it. its no different from "gangsters" with their pants at their feet and 20 lbs of "bling" around their neck thinking they are cool with their basketball jersey on backwards.

Rare when you will see emo serbs imo ....however, I'm not saying that its wrongg.. but you choose what you want to be.

I remember the oukasts in high school, but they were never as severe as they are now. They were just weird, but I think they do it for attention. But I always played soccer so i never talked to them unless it was about some weed.

I was a "grunge" kid in middle school and high school and we were way cooler than these emo kids. We were friends with everybody, wore lame flannels and band shirts, played in garage bands, and weren't opposed to recreational drug use. And I won't deny it, all of us did enjoy any attention that we received for being weird.

These emo kids are ruining the legacy of the outcast kids.

Emo sucks balls. but grunge smelled like my balls, and blew bigger s.(except STP-not realy grunge-, Alice N chains, and nirvana)

Mudhoney, and that folksy ty Blind Melon, along with the annoying ska reggae white guilt band Sublime.

Also Rage sucks balls. Cool funk grooves only to be outshat by Zac Dela Rocha's worn out lyrics, and lame as publicity stunts.

Basically any band that sings about something that's dear to them? We can only have so many songs about drugs, sex and violence. Dashboard Confessional is the only band there that I know of, which is grouped under "emotional". But from the songs I've heard, they don't discuss death

Thursday: post-hardcore
Senses Fail: pop-punk band with awful screams
Story of the Year: ditto
The Used: ditto x2
Sugarcult- pop-punk band
Crossfade: never heard of
The Early November: pop-punk/kinda indie-rock band
Static Lullaby: "alleged" post-hardcore band; but more so a pop-punk with awful screams. Think Finch
Smile Empty Soul- ty mainstream rock band

The only band that I would even think of calling "Emo"(and the only good one, I might add) is Thursday. But I would stick with "post-hardcore" because they do tend to go all over the map. Depending if you can tolerate his voice, they do have some really solid songs. Their latest albums blows, but "Full Collapse" is still a great album.

Other than that, none of the bands you named are "Emo".

They sound pretty in EMO to me!


My bro has hundreds of bands in his ipod and i only like a few of them because most of them are emo.
