I guess the Lakers will have a couple of spots open, but they might have plans for Sean Banks, who is their D-League team's best player and who has been playing the triangle for four months now.
Isn't Sean Banks like Tayshaun Prince, incredibly long wingspan with a real soft J?
Certainly Lakers would want that, what a pair of intimidators, Walton's reach being long too.
Hope Banks has left his Carmelo-like ties behind him, together with that no-show at Team USA practice where scouts were waiting for him.
His U of Memphis coach had tough love for him too.
He sounds like a project for PJackson, has the skills no doubt.

Just like Spurs fans lol. Write a guy off before he gets any pt and then when he gets some minor pt against scrub teams he's all of a sudden the second coming. I'm rooting for the guy to succeed. I've been following Flight White since high school so I do know if anything his athleticism alone is intriguing. But come on. Let the guy get some games under his belt first before we annoint him the next George Gervin.

I don't remember his being a Tayshaun copy, but he's got decent SF size: 6'7" with a 7'1" wingspan. I think the D-Fenders are the first team he's stuck with this long -- that says something right there. He's definitely the kind of player that makes the Lakers' owning a D-League team intriguing if not worrisome.

You're right about that misrep comparison to Tayshaun, I get that he's harder, more edgier towards SJax/J.R.Rider.
If he plays as hard as his past has been, and Lakers have taken him under their wing, then we need to be on guard.
