if you'll notice from the videos, it's artest who appears to be pulling Sjax away from a fight rather than vice/versa.

Neither one of them was pulling each other away. Tinsley and F Jones try to pull Jack back, not Artest.

I think Jack went in there with good intentions but retalitated after that guy threw a cup of beer at Artest.

This is bull . Watch the tape. When the incident first occurred on court, Jax had his jersey untucked, his fists clenched, and was ready to brawl.

When Artest went into the stands, there was no "gotta go help out my boy." It was "I'm gonna go find me some punk ass to up" going through Stephen's mind.

ANd I agree with Whott, SJax should get the longest suspension. Ironically I think Artest should have the shortest of the three, because I thought O'Neal came in after the fact when security had that guy under control on the court and laid a cheapshot (albeit a good one) in.

If I was commish, it'd be:

Jax gone for the year
O'Neal 50 games
Artest 50 games
Wallace 10 games

With the added caveat of Indy and Detroit both losing their first round picks this year. Indy so it doesn't benefit from the stupidity of its players, and Detroit as punishment for its security sucking.

Yeah, the suspensions are long, but no matter how bad things are on the court, you don't take it off the court and start decking joe blow for throwing a cup of beer. A precedent needs to be set that this will not be tolerated.
