But all that goes out the window in games a player misses -- not only are all the opponents different, but thanks to injuries, suspensions, trades and the like, often the teammates are as well. So instead of apples-to-apples, you often get apples-to-oranges. Sometimes it's not even that close -- more like apples-to-orangutans.
