Alas, yes it is over.
Funeral arrangements pending.
End of the Spurs? Doubt it. If we hadn't made the playoffs or only barely made it, perhaps. But the efforts are there to work towards our transition time, which will truly be this offseason on. The trick is to try and maintain quality during transition. Hopefully, the FO can get it done.
So even if we lose this series, I'm not that concerned. Shrug.

Obviously someone wasn't watching the Finals last year, or the Suns series against L.A.
I'd rather be down 2-0 than 3-1.
Truthfully, I would not be the least bit surprised if we were to lose tonight. I know Denver will be playing hard if not harder that they did in game one. But this is my prediction, I think that we lose tonight and everyone will start writing us off saying that we are washed up and this and that, and Denver will be feeling like they are the Kings of the world, then boom I think we beat them four straight. I REALLY hope we do win tonight though, but if not I'm still confident that Denver can't win 4 games against SA.
The Spurs will win tonight and win this series in 6 games
Laker fans have more faith than Spurs fan. Who would've thunk it?
you got that right.
and the lakers will get next 2 in LA(serious)
Just like Melo said, "We have to play as hard as we did in Game 1, but harder."![]()
Now you are just trying to be nice!
Maybe if Kobe goes for 60+, they win one. I don't see them winning more than 1 game vs PHX.....and it will take a huge game by Kobe to even get the 1.
It's not Kobe's fault. He just needs some better teammates.
Yeah his supporting cast is freakin awful. And some of the shots Odom takes really makes me scratch my head. And if Kwame Brown had went to college I'm confident that he wouldn't had been a draft pick.
If the Spurs lose, then Kevin Pritchard will pull the trigger on the trade of Beno-for-Roy, Aldridge, and a first-rounder.
yeah I agree tonight is THE NIGHT ,it is the most important game of the serie, and even though the spurs win I'm scared they couldn't pass this round.
Silly Bear.
If they lose tonight they can still win the series. We are not playing an experienced team or a team that is nearly as good as the Suns or Mavs who we know the Spurs can play with. They won't lose tonight but i can see them going to Denver and winning both games.
SA is still alive this season. No reazon to freak out at all.The big 3 is in better shape tham last year, and Denver aint gonna stop us.
So,stop crying and ing ,it was just one loss.End of it.

Dammit Jim, you need to grow a pair.
Have you never been thru a playoff run before?
The Spurs are still my pick to win the whole thing this year.
Idiot.
Well clearly, it's not the end of this series.
At least 3 more games left to play. Maybe we can bump this thread and discuss when this series is over?
Not that my answer will change.
Don't forget to bump this thread!

Spurs will keep chugging along as long as Pop is coach, and delivering excellent basketball. The beauty of a competant coach is that he can do well with just about ANY group of players. (before you start typing, the current batch is incredibly talented)
Hopefully he will leave behind his philosophy when HE finally decides to hang up his hat. (a loooooong time from now, I hope)
I won't! It may be delayed when I'm in Dallas (after the 26th of May) but I will bump it!
I like your thinking.
