I can't believe this post! You've written them off already, as a Spurs fan, while the majority of sportswriters who know their basketball are picking them to win it all.
Only in San Antonio.
Tonight's game is HUGE! If the Spurs lose it's a foregone conclusion that they will be out of the playoffs in the 1st round. Something that has not happened in nearly a decade. This could very well signal the decline of the organization. I will give them their props. They've been an elite organization for several years and they are a class act. However, all good things come to an end. Is this the end?

Even if they lose tonights game I wouldnt count them out. But Im praying to God that they win tonight.
on the bandwagon of life, you are either on or off. if you're not sure then i'll push you off.
what's with all the quitters today? can't you just hide in your bathroom?
if they lose in the first round
you have to look at your roster and see if you could trade in the offseason to improve
tlong is not a spurs fan.![]()
Win or lose you have to look at your roster and see if you could trade in the offseason to improve.
Uh, tlong isn't in San Antonio (as far as I know) and he claims he isn't a Spurs fan.
I think there's some truth to the notion that tonight's game is a huge one for the Spurs. Thinking that this is going to be a 5 gamer because it was a 5 gamer 2 years ago strikes me as wishful thinking. Losing game 1 in this series means the Spurs are now playing with fire. Denver believes it can get Game 2 and can play without much pressure tonight knowing that even if they lose tonight, they've seized home court, at least for the moment. I do think that the Spurs will play better tonight than they did in Game 1 and I think that if better play translates into a win, whether the win is decisive or close, the momentum will be huge going into Denver, where the Spurs will just need to get one to take back HCA.
It's a big game and while I don't know that a loss would be the death knell for the Spurs franchise in the Duncan era, I'm certain that we're getting closer and closer to that inevitable point.
I wouldn't write them off if they went down 0-2, but I would write off my getting any work done tomorrow before 2pm.
Stop worrying about the Spurs and start worrying about the Blazers. They're in deep right now, just like in the 5 or so past years. When was the last time you guys had a shot at the le? Clyde Drexler era?
If Nuggets do win, then it wont be a blowout. If its a blowout, Spurs chances are very bleak.
will this be the end of your idiotic posts?...i think no.
I agree howver you lose in the first round
you might think about trading on of the big three
speaking of denver be interstign what happens to BLAKE
End already? I thought one team has to win 4 games to win the series.![]()
it's astonishing to see how most of you fails to produce a smart answer or even to just read the first post. There's a real decline in spurs fans also ^^
He's fine
If the Spurs lose, it's far from over. Dallas was 0-2 against Houston at home 2 yrs ago, and they won in 7. Nuggets must remember that.
I will remember this thread every series we win. And I will bump it. Book it. Even if tlong doesn't claim to be a Spurs fan.
Darrin, your sig is disturbing. A girl that young should not have granny-saggage going on, and she certainly shouldn't be flaunting it.
yes all things must come to an end. dont' discount the mighty Spurs yet. big 3 are still in their prime
Who are the Big-3?
is he not a fa after this season
Man, I hate these threads.
Hate 'em.
Hate 'em.
Hate 'em.
Look--
The Spurs know what went wrong in game one. Everything that went wrong is correctable.
1. Out of rhythm and rusty due to not playing for an eternity showed up by the big three missing wide-open lay-ups and uncontested shots they normally make with their eyes closed;
2. Falling in love with stupid jump shots instead of going to the rim. Free throw disparity was huge--you don't get to the line when you jack up stupid jumpers.
3. Getting down the court faster. The clock was a real enemy, resulting in bad jump shots with 2 or 3 seconds left on the shot clock.
4. Clamping down on one of the Nuggets's big two. (No--Nene is not a big three--one good game does not make one a star). They don't have to shut down both Iverson and Carmelo--just one. They both scored 30 and 31 points. If I had to guess, it will be a tough night for Carmelo tonight.
Can people please stop with this ty, the sky is falling crap.
If you're a Spurs fan--get some balls.
If you're a troll--
OFF!
I 'm in love with that Sig--don't you dare change anything.
