"Marion is better than all but one player on the Spurs, and Barbosa is better than all but 1, and equal with another. Bell is better than all but 2, because he sure is is a far better player than the flopping argentinian. That's more than enough."

Friggin idiotic statement - Bowen is a defensive genius far more than the over-hyped Bell, Parker for the Spurs is as good a point guard for them then Nash (who is still slightly better but not by much), Tim Duncan is the best player on the court every game and Ginobili is just as good as Marion (although he has not has his usual series). Barbosa is so over-hyped it is not even funny, period. Too fast for most team but against a real team he is non factor. Finley and Barry are stepping up and Oberto is a savy winner.

Even with Amare the Spurs have the same or better talent than the Sun period.

Spurs talent is not even in the same class as the Suns with Amare and Diaw there, and like one fan said, probably pretty close to even. Parker can't even hold Nash's jock when it comes to playing the point, and Manu is only slightly better than James Jones. And the best player on the court every game is a small white Canadian.

Best player every game is Nash, talk about homerism.
    I submit Tim Duncan.

Manu only slightly better? You keep thinking that. Along with your Parker statement.

Without Amare and Diaw.....the Spurs are a whole lot better, and deeper too. They are quite a bit more mature in many cases as well.

When Manu EVER does anything worth noting, aside from a good flop that is, let me know. Until then he is not much of a player.

That does not give him any credibility as a legitimate star of any kind.

    wrong.

Suns = 2 seed with Amare

    Suns = 7/8 seed w/out Amare
Hmmmm. Where were they seeded last year without Amare?

He can thanks his teammates for that, because he definitely didn't do much of that himself.

In all actuality, besides the few of you in San Antonio, who was? I've seen him play enough, and can really say he never contibutes a whole lot aside from some good flops.

    And the Olympics?

back on topic, how could the Spurs be the chokers when pretty much every single poll has people picking the suns to win? according to most, the suns are the favorite. But knowing idiots who vote that way would jump on every opportunity to discount the Spurs and still call them chokers.

No I saw enough then and seen enough when they play the Suns and Mavs to know he is no more than just a role player who contributes little. And he sure as is no star player.

The only player the Suns can't afford to lose is Nash.

Everyone else is just in interchangeable part. The Amare-less Suns went farther in the playoffs last year than the Spurs.

Even without Amare tonight's game will be a huge challenge, especially considering the fact that the Suns and their fans will be amped up.

Spider: Manu is not playing well in these playoffs.

I suggest you do some research before bashing him. Spurs would have two less les if he wasn't a Spur, Coach Pop said that. He was our third best player, behind Tim and Tony.

If the Spurs lose game 5, yes, they are indeed chokers. Trust me, as a Pistons fan, I know a little something about choking recently. Thank God for the Red Wings.
