If the Spurs lose tonight they absolutely don't deserve to be NBA champions.
Suns tonight are not better than warriors anynight. and they have the same playing style. So if Spurs lose tonight, would this choke be equivalent to dallas choking a playoff game in round 1?
I will be so embarrased is Spurs lose tonight!
If the Spurs lose tonight they absolutely don't deserve to be NBA champions.
Suns tonight still have more talent on the floor than the Spurs, and the Warriors do not even deserve to be in the same conversation. Does that mean they are the better team, not necessarily, but still more talented even without Amare. They sure as are still a better team than the Warriors, so WHEN the Spurs lose tonight, it will only be a missed opportunity for them.
Why are the Suns are so more talented than the Spurs?
gimme a ing break, Suns have Nash, and.... that's it. marion always dissapears and barbosa has been a nonfactor the whole series.
they dont' even have Diaw.
they are at the level of the warriors. Suns will feed off the crazy crowd tonight just like the Warriors.
Spurs must do what Dallas coudln't which is win in this hostile environment. If Spurs lose, them!

Marion is better than all but one player on the Spurs, and Barbosa is better than all but 1, and equal with another. Bell is better than all but 2, because he sure is is a far better player than the flopping argentinian. That's more than enough.
Well, I'll give Spider props for sticking with his team.
I'd argue Suns could play with more Heart tonight.
Nash can be a in' monster. I'm not going to count them out until the Spurs win 4.
Uh, Spider, is that one player Duncan or Tony?
Damn, dude, you had me going for a minute. You should have just said "Nash can beat the Spurs all by himself" and I would have believed you...
lmfao ^^^
crack kills
Simple math:
Mavs -- 1 Seed
GS -- 8 Seed
Suns -- 2 Seed
Spurs -- 3 Seed
Mavs Choke > Spurs Choke (hopefully won't happen anyway)
The difference with the Suns and Spurs is and has always been the fact that one has been playing like a better TEAM the last 3+ seasons. The Suns are far and away the most talented team in the NBA, but that has never meant they have been the better TEAM. This is the first time I've really seen them play like a well rounded team, and they are still only 2-2 because the Spurs have been doing it for so long. If the Suns reamaining players' talent really shines though tonight, the Suns WILL still win.
if that's the case the Suns should have put the Spurs away in 4 straight! But I respect your loyalty to your puss....er uh I mean Suns!
wrong.
Suns = 2 seed with Amare
Suns = 7/8 seed w/out Amare
All that matters is who wins the series. The chokers are determined after that.
More talented than the spurs tonight. Lets see
nash =duncan (2 best players on the team, All-NBA level)
Barbosa = Finley (impact of scoring this series has been about even)
Thomas=Bowen (good d)
Marion =Parker (their scoring has been close, both playing good d)
Manu=Bell (both have been contributing in different ways)
In the least, it is very close. But lets look further down the bench.
Oberto, elson and Barry >>>>Jrose, JJ and KIWI
Nevertheless, looking at this, it is pretty obvious the Suns have WAY more talent than the Spurs with Diaw and Amare; it is interesting that the Spurs seem to have had the upper hand against them this series as well as during the year.
gimme a break. Spurs lose tonight, the series is over. I would bet my house on it.
Spurs lose tonight and they are Class A chokers. Especially with the way they choked game 4 away.![]()

Like I said after the Warriors trashed the Mavs and sent them packing. No scenario in these playoffs will top an #8 thumping a #1 seed. Even if the Spurs went out and got beat by 30 tonight it still wouldn't be as bad as what happened to the mavs!
Last year, suns = 2 seed W/OUT Amare, but nice try son!
The spurs need to take a dive in this game. Then try to earn the trophy. If they win tonight and go on to take the championship, unearned.

Go to Dallas.
Not as bad as being a 1 seed losing to an 8 but a choke nonetheless.
Going by playoff points alone:
Tim Duncan 24.1
Tony Parker 19.4
Michael Finley 15.1
Manu Ginobili 12.8
Suns:
Amare Stoudemire 23.9
Steve Nash 19.0
Leandro Barbosa 17.0
Shawn Marion 16.8
Take away Amare, and how are the Suns individually better?
I don't agree with that. When the Spurs have won the series and the next and the next, the'll have earned the right to be the Champions- no matter how many games it took them.
That said, I very much would like us to win tonght's game in grand fashion and finish the Suns off in six.
