The reaon why we couldn't rest our players was because two of our best players were not allowed to play. It's clear that the Suns were tired at the end of the game, I'm not sure how you could dispute that.

Every team has 12 suited up players. If your coach doesn't want to or have enough confidence to play them, then that's his problem. The Spurs played Bonner for a few minutes. I'm sure if the Spurs had another player unable to play, Pop would've gone deeper into his bench.

My whole point is that these suspensions severly handicapped Phoenix in this series.

So the what? Does a moral victory make you happy? Does trying to diminish the victory somehow make it hurt less? Why do you even bother if you can't just say it was an exciting game and your team gave it your all? Seriously, you ing bags have been bellyaching about the suspensions for two straight days. It's not like anyone needs to be reminded. The Spurs played without the biggest playoff performer in recent NBA history, and did it without a complaint. You guys have yet to give it a ing rest. Now would be a good time to start.

this series is a freakin joke......the league is obviously favoring san antonio because Duncan shoulda been suspended for leaving the bench in the 2nd quarter of game 4. it's like the jordan rules of the old bulls days, Stoudamire doesnt have as much seniority as Duncan so the commissioner decides i'll make an impact on the series by suspending Stoudamire. Thats absolute horse . I'm an NBA fan, i am the beerman at cubs/sox(well not anymore cause they are assholes) and used to be the beerman at Bears games. it's a freakin joke when the commissioner attempts to alter a series. How about you suspend Baron Davis for his cheapshot Robert Horry Like elbow in game 4 of that series. The NBA doesnt rule fairly and shouldnt suspend players in the most important series over bull made up rules. I just joined this stupid forum tonight to voice my frustration. The NBA is bull and the Spurs are obviously the team the NBA favors and thinks will get the highest rating in the finals. I want to burn my David Robinson rookie card after how b.s. i think this league is. Pathetic! Absolutely pathetic!!!!

Who cares? The Suns don't get a mulligan for having their players suspended. This game counts exactly the same number of losses as game 1.

At least if Ginobili and Bowen were suspended, I guarantee you we wouldn't play Duncan/Barry/Finley/Paker/Oberto for 45+ minutes. Hence the problem. D'Antoni has been in love with his amazing 7 man rotation all season long and it came and bit him in the rear.

Heh, I seriously doubt it. I don't even remember the last time Pop played Duncan serious minutes, he treats him like he's so fragile. Parker isn't even capable of playing heavy and Oberto would be in foul trouble.

Pop has used a deep rotation all year, he isn't going to play the starters 90% of the game.
