So his 'loyalty to the Heat' was sloth?

If we want him for one season we'll have to overpay like we did Horry.

    Borosai, @ your sigs!

Posey... hmmm, yes for small cash, and not a bad idea to fill in while we develop a young guy.

I imagine we'd have him more like 3 years or so. Then we could afford to train up somebody like Dominic McGuire in the mean time.

Maybe at the vet min, but if it's a largish fraction of the MCE, it'll be one year, so as to not up the '08 cap room.

I think two players are being talked about here... Mourning and Posey.

Agreed. The salary would have to be pretty low so not to intrude upon the 08 MASTER PLAN!

Acquisition-wise, I think it's only Posey. Someone mentioned that Posey would be even a BETTER defender with a shot blocker behind him, and that's when the fact that Posey played with Mourning surfaced.

Posey is the perfect fit to be a Spurs SF.
The only thing I don't like about Posey is that he is a dirty player. I'm not sure that I want to have a player like him with a Spurs jersey.

Completely agree...and him with Mourning would be a very special duo for the spurs.
    Two perfect fits.
In case Zo is the same of this year, it could be wonderful to have him protecting the rim...

What about Alonzo Mourning? That guy is a block machine.

How much do we think he will go for in free agency this year? Is he restricted?

And he's also about 75 years old!
