And one must keep in mind that not everyone would wear a black t-shirt if it was given to them. We've got more than our share of women in the lower bowl (yes, I'm calling them out) who spend a lot of time sexy-fying themselves up to be seen and I seriously doubt they would throw a black t-shirt over themselves.

On the other hand, fiesta colors are awesome. The visiting team would get disoriented and start shooting at the wrong basket. You combine that with a mariachi band behind the visiting team's bench, and you have an undefeated home record.

I was going to say the same thing. I'd love them to hand out the shirts, but if a sponsor isn't stepping up to do it, then that's the end of that.

Utah is known (there) as the Land of Zion. There's also Zion's National Park in Southern Utah. After a few years of living there, you kind of learn more than you ever cared to know about the LDS Church, thinly veiled as Utah history.

At the last home Spurs home game, I saw groups of people in the lower bowl of the AT&T that all wore black shirts .... and it looked like big sections of empty seats from the TV.

They should leave out a mix of black and white on the seats. Get a little more creative than one color.

I would suggest that they use a loose fitting reversable top, like a practice jersey, that's black on one side and gray on the other. Flip it every quarter.

Not ing about it. It just gives the atmospere a "college" look to it. In college, those seas of white(A&M) Red (Oklahoma) Orange(Ok St) just look cool, especially on tv. When Golden St did it, I thought it was a nice touch and really shows solidarity, IMO.
