Utah's ownership loves ticketbuyers more than San Antonio's ownership.
It's actually at least the 2nd time in this post-season that the Jazz have done the t-shirt give away thing.
Just saw a reporter sitting in the stands talking about the game tonight and every seat had a light blue t-shirt laying over the back of the seat. The Jazz are giving every fan a t-shirt to put on and wear.
The place will be one big sea of blue. Now how come the cheap bas s in SA do not do this? It would be cool if the whole AT&T Center was blacked out for their games.

It would cost about 50K to give everyone a t-shirt. All you have to do is raise the price of beer and softdrinks about 50 cents for that oe game and you made up for the expense and nobody would complain.
Yeah, they don't black it out or white it out or yellow it out... they powder blue it out.
And FYI, the team doesn't do it. It is a sponsor, just like when we get sticks or pom poms or clappers or maracas or Academy scratchers or D Rob banners or posters or etc.
They are all from people like ATnT, Express News, Academy, Spectrum, Indep Carp Care, etc.
Comcast did the 'We Believe' shirts for GS.

They'll make good fishing tees!
They gotta get rid of 'em quick.
In a sea of blue.
How about the cheap sponsors of SA how come they don't do it.
Theres a sponsor on those shirts on the seats, so don't think its Larry Miller giving them away....
The shirts are given away by Zions Bank. They will say TRUE BLUE on the front with the Jazz logo below it. Zions Bank did this for game 2 against the Warriors but only for the lower bowl. After TONS of complaints from fans in the upper bowl, Zions decided to give a shirt to everyone for game 3 tonight. It looks pretty sweet until fans stand up and you see those god awful green seats. I really wish they'd chuck those green seats and bring in navy blue seats.
It's pretty cool but it pisses me off when fans don't wear the shirt. I think if you don't put the shirt on, you should lose your seat.
Do you think Zions Bank will be nice enough to make us some shirts?
i just made the call to zions. good news and bad news. they will do the shirts for us......... but it will be fiesta colors in a tie-die shirt. are we down?
lol...its a step up from where we are now!
Sure. I don't think Zions Bank would mind at all seeing 19,000 Spurs fans wearing powder blue Jazz shirts![]()
Don't most people own a white t-shirt already?![]()
I'm glad the shirts are powder blue, should make me stand out in my black Horry shirt!![]()
![]()
Ironically they're in shade of blue!
Where is Frost bank on this one?
I can't believe people are still ing about damn t-shirts.![]()
The Spurs already spent that $50,000 skipping media day.
And Frost Bank is hurting because of these gas prices.
haha, that's awesome.
I came very close to going to Game 3. I figured that it might be in the best interests of Spurdom for me to skip it, though, since the Spurs have never won a road game that I've attended.
Have fun tonight!
free t-shirts = consolation prizes
If you really care you would wear your own black shirt...
Damn what happened to the '99 Championship run days when the whole city was going crazy right about now. I don't even see any Go Spurs Go messages on any business marquies, hardly any flags...
Ah well I guess winning isn't new to us anymore![]()
I've seen plenty of "Go Spurs Go" signs around town. On businesses, on fences of homes. They're there, you just have to look a bit harder I guess.
I remember the STSA people were trying to get everyone to wear black to a game a while back, but even if that did happen...you would still have those people who don't listen to sports radio not knowing about it. I think if we really want to have a "black out" we need it spread on the news, commercials, billboards, etc. But if we are going to do that, it might just be cheaper to get a sponser to donate them, the cost might be less than all the advertising that would need to be done.
