    1) 5) That status of Oberto's wrist. Results of the x-rays haven't been made public yet. Oberto is third on the Spurs in +/- in the playoffs.

What's this about injuries? That could be a problem.

But if Oberto's wrist is broken, whataya bet he still plays -- and pretty well.

    "what happened to Oberto?"

A deflected pass to him caught him on the thumb.
I don't know where this catastrophic talk of (broken) wrist came from.

I'm not saying it's broken, but this is where the wrist talk is coming from.

Oberto's wrist examined: Spurs center Fabricio Oberto underwent a cautionary X-ray after appearing to injure his right wrist early in the third quarter, a team spokesman said. Oberto, who had five points and four rebounds in 26 minutes, grimaced in pain after mishandling a pass from Duncan.

The Spurs said after the game the results of the X-ray weren't available.

Oberto left the game holding his wrist with 10:41 left in the third. He returned with 5:44 left in the period after Duncan picked up his fourth foul.

The Boozer slapslam is what whacked his wrist, no?

The Duncan pass came after that.

In the replay it looks like Boozer deflected the pass and also hit the hand of Oberto.
Still, if it's his wrist that's trouble. If it's one of his fingers, he should be ok. AK has been playing with a fractured thumb the entire playoffs.
