I would have to second the vote for Amare's hand-just-over-the-hoop-within-the-cylinder-of-the-hoop-physically-making-a-dunk-get-as close-to-an-in-and-out-shot-as-you-can-make-it-with-a-block block on TD 2 years ago.

Having read through this thread I didn't notice anyone mention about the fact that Okur's hand was on Duncan's hip as he started towards the basket. That was slowing Timmy down in the process and I'm guessing here that it had just enough effect for the block.

a switch hand in mid air to his left to lay it in (a la MJ vs. Lakers) would've been ideal. I'm pretty sure Duncan doesn't have that hang-time...but it would've been ideal. He could've done it really fast.

Not impressed as Tim can barely jump over a phone book. Blocking Amare and his 30 inch verticle might move me.

Boozer's block was probably the best defensive move he's made in this series. Most of the time, he's just hacking and throwing tomahawk chops.
Not just the series, probably his entire career. Boozer is a good player but he leaves something to be desired on the defensive end. though he has gotten better, his first year here he couldn't guard a closed door.

Jordan's over the back two-handed catch-block was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen.

However, Duncan's 5 blocks in Game 4 >>>> any single block in NBA history. I bet Boozer exerted as much energy in that one block as Duncan did in the entire quarter.

C'mon people ! It was a great block. It looked good and ALMOST changed the momentum of the game. Tim took it all in stride, recovered and got the W in the end.
    That's what will be remembered.

But Javie didn't let that happen.

But Javie didn't let that happen.
You'll have all offseason to keep trying to convince yourself of that, Suns fan. Javie was nice enough not to call Boozer's obvious charge on Manu at the other end after the block. There's your home cookin'. Hope you enjoyed it.
