1 game and I owe the guy an apology??

If he brings it tommarow night i will officially apologize.

    He needs to bring consistency.

But I liked what I saw out of Devin.

His outside shot though has regressed.

    Great question Aggie,

we do not attack the rim enough, Ginobili Brown Barry Duncan Parker Udrih and others should drive to the rim damn near every time.

That's the Spurs' gameplan and that's what they do when they're playing well. I don't know of another team that attacks the rim as much as the Spurs.
We sure weren't running our gameplan in the third. Ugh.

I've been watching it...he's still got a shot at 10 points per game...especially if he keeps playing like this...I figured it out last night that he needs to avg 11 PPG for the rest of the season to do it...

But no way in does he pull off 5 boards a game.

Whottt needs to update his sig.

BTW, Brown was the Spurs' second leading rebounder in preseason.

    Get with the times.

    He needs to bring consistency.
He's never going to put the numbers up like he did tonight consistently because he won't get consistent minutes with the depth on this team.

He has only had one or two bad shooting games this season. If somehow they can give him 15+mpg this season that would be great. But it seems nearly impossible.

And exstatic, yes I'm sure he wants to stay here. But if another team can promise him playing time this summer, I couldn't be mad at him for considering leaving.

    loose the hate WHott,

    I have

It is kinda cool to see a local boy done good.

His jump shot though needs to get a little better, its not encouraging to have seen it regress a little.

Man, just stop talking to me. First of all, you lost that AJ bet and you never were a man about it and let me change your le. Second of all, a week? Way to go out on a limb there buddy.

    Kori you misunderstood me.

I meant bring consistency as in,

same good shooting, same agressiveness to the hole.

I agree its tough with the minutes hes gotten, but his minutes last post season were inconsistent and he still brought it like tonight.

    Thats all Im askin.

Um, I have never hated Devin, I have always liked him. And if TimVP will remember...I had his back on the start Devin Brown over Bowen movement this past summer. Remember TimVP?

I just think Blaze got a bit carried away with his sig and since he was asking for it to be marked down I figured I would put my sig to use to hold him accountable.

If he turns out to be right he'll thank me for it. I wish we kept better track of older threads...People that are right as often as myself always like to dig up old threads....mainly for Chumpslapping.

I have not been negative about this team at all this year...I picked 65+ wins..your sig captures my feelings about this team.

I do not have the same at ude about this team I had about last years team...I love this team...

How the did I keep you from changing my le? LMAO I have no freaking control over it...I told you to do it if you truly thought you had won that bet, I am pretty sure it's in the Whottt's this thread in the classics. But I don't think you ever provided proof..you provided a news article with no details that just said they talked...it said nothing else.

And I told you today...that either you lost that bet or else AJ stiffed the Spurs...take your pick. Either way I win with the way it turned out. So change the le if you feel you must.

And even if what you say is true...it'd be kinda hard for me to get out of Devin averaging 10 and 5...I mean how the do you expect me to do that?

How long is Devin signed for?

through the end of this season.

He should be easily resigned to a 4 year 8 million dollar deal.

Hopefully him and his agent dont go Stephen Jackson on the Spurs.

Question people: Can a lineup of:

    C-Tony Massenburg
    PF-Malik Rose/Robert Horry
    SF-Devin Brown
    SG-Brent Barry
    PG-Beno

    beat Golden State or Chicago?

Um, that's kind of why I had a Battle Blog posted before the season started predicting it.

Didn't catch the blog but I did notice your sig calling out people to mark it down and put it in their favorites...so I did. If your prediction comes true it can only mean good things for the Spurs and my sig will be even more scoreboard..If it doesn't happen...well you did ask for people to mark it down. Hey, at least I noticed it.

He's alive to score 10 a game, and it's looking more possible than it did a week ago, when he was buried on the bench, but I just don't see those rebounds happening without him being a starter, under any cir stances.

Thanks, and for the record...Devin needs to score 11.14 PPG from this point on to avg 10 a game...hmmm, seems easily doable given his performance tonight....

But in boards he has to average nearly 6 a game from this point on...tough to do even as a starter...

For what it's worth, I hope he does get moved into the starting lineup, it's what I wanted to be done with him this summer, to save Bruce for the post season...but I don't see it happening if he is the best scoring spark off the bench.

I like how Bruce Bowen is playing lately. He took that BS 10-footer out of his repitoire and isn't doing too many of those pointless drives. He's sticking to corner threes and running the fast breaks.

    Props to Bruce.
