    I guess you're right
    And just for the record, I'm hoping Duncan is his usual brilliant self AND Parker plays well enough to win the award. Parker's got a rep for coming up small. Unfair, perhaps, but it's still there. I'd like to see him shake that.

    If TP averages 25.9 pts, 10 assists and plays great D while hitting 2 winning shots in Cleveland, including the championship clincher.....then yes he will win the MVP.
    I could see that happening.

    He's done as much to shake that this year as he could have. If he plays a smart and productive series and the Spurs win he'll no longer be called one, regardless of whether he gets Finals MVP. With no marquee defensive assignment he can produce big time offensively, but I think it will come down to transition opportunities and the Spurs ability to maintain ball movement in the offensive set and attack the Cavs. Cleveland's D has a tendency to get out of position on good ball movement and quick ball reversals, and that could lead to nice lanes for TP and Manu.
