Scola didn't have any problems playing PF against Jermaine O'Neal and Elton Brand in international play.
and Malik Rose got a lot of touches next to Duncan and next to Robinson in 2003, so it's not like Scola would be a concern there.
Yeah, I've been on these boards (WOAI, SpursReport, SpursTalk) for 5 or 6 years now and I haven't really seen anyone post any real insider information. I have seen claims that things would happen that didn't, but I never never seen anyone post information that obviously came from someone in the organization.

True insider information wouldn't be posted on a message board.
Its insider information.
So I've discovered......
Maybe we ought to post this thread at SpursReport and blow that up.

Yes? Scola is a bad defensive player only his offensive is good.
How tall is he?
If the guy can't play D, what is up with all the hype?![]()
Now chats are a whole new ballgame![]()
did you hear this before oprah?
I'm so sick of hearing about this guy. Why are we supposed to be excited about an overpayed undersized non rebounding powerforward without a knack for post defensive skills?
Just another Dusty "I have inside information but I can't tell you how" thread.
I think he has a psychic read the wet dream stains on his sheets.
I still remember the "press row is buzzing with news that David Robinson will absolutely be traded. . . " rumor a few years ago.
It's interesting discussion, but anyone who posts on the internets and claims to have insider information about what the Spurs will or won't do is just guessing. They don't call him CIA Pop for nothing. . . .
It would be nice to see Scola finally in San Antonio. If they add him to the roster I can only see him playing a minor role and splitting minutes with Horry (if he decides to stay). I expect him not to have a major impact when he comes here, but I can see him taking over when Horry finally retires. Although, there's been much talk about him every off-season but honestly I'd rather see Mahnimi coming over and develop in the D-League.
Scola:
Ht:6-9
Horry 6-10 Oberto 6-10 Butler 6-10 Duncan 6-11 Elson 7-0
fix your shtty server spursreport, cant log in

and in 08? so for the 08-09 season?![]()
So true.
They cant even afford a better server. always too busy.
Let me introduce you to Jimbo . . .
Jim, are you there?
The M.O. on sarsreport is 'throw enough at the wall involving the off-season plans of the Spurs, and sooner or later you'll be right.'
Someone finally said it!
I've been asking what the big effin deal is about Scola since I first heard about the guy a couple years ago.
I'd rather get another Elson than this guy. It would be like super elson. Who cares if he picks up 3 quick fouls then.
Spurssheriff is Dusty, so this probably means that Scola will be traded.
