US posters probably don't known George Eddy.

This guy has made more for the NBA than anyone else in France.
Former US player who played in several french teams before becoming an analyst and announcer.

All the french players who are in the NBA, including TP, and all the fans from the late 80's to now, grew up listening to this man making the show on Canal + and bringing all the US basketball expressions (Coast to coast ! , In your face, ! Get back baby ! , In the zone ! , Money time !... and several on his own: ouh la la la la la ! ; c'est pas possible !)

He's a great part of NBA's success here despite a paying and crypted channel coverage.

He also became a local specialist (european champs, euroleague, national teams) and is a very respexted specialist.
He's also making some scouting for NBA teams.

Not just French fans!

Until Canal+ changed its encryption method many non French viewers (me included) followed the NBA in part because of the knowledgeable and entertaining commenting from George Eddy (yes we used cheap "Russian" decryption cards ).
Now it doesn't work anymore (hasn't worked for a couple of years now )

The guy is a legend in France and in Europe.

i had nothing for the ticket story with the us cop fortunately...i went back to san antonio in december 07 and nothing more..
i am coming back in 3 days and i feel more comfortable..not like i came back 6 month after the incident...
