those all good points and worthy of serious discussion, Xray.
I did not have sex with that woman.
It was just a blow-job. (dems excuse for I didn't have sex with
that woman)
I am still trying to figure out how you can talk on the phone
and talk coherently and have someone performing oral sex.
The Senator screwed up (pardon the pun). At least he hasn't lied
about it. And he isn't the President, yet. But obviously he
is working on his qualifications to be a Dimm-o-craptic
candidate. You know like JFK, LBJ and Good Old Bill.
those all good points and worthy of serious discussion, Xray.
No, he just stood in moral judgment of the rest of America while he paid a woman not his wife to perform sexual acts with him.
At least Yoni summed up his argument and from the little I read of his posts, he seems to be consistent with his statement in this thread.
Xray just nailed the talking point home like Vlad Guerrero.
No don't get me wrong I agree with you. Both sides have thier own mistakes and issues they must deal with.
Ironic, since Louisiana has a higher divorce rate than Massachussetts.
live by the sword, die by the sword
http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/...r-call-pr.htmlThe revelation of Hustler's involvement is not without irony. Vitter joined Congress by winning a House seat vacated by former Rep. Bob Livingston, R-La., in 1999. Livingston, a chief accuser of former President Bill Clinton during his Monica Lewinsky sex scandal, was forced to step down after Hustler magazine threatened to publish evidence of his own marital infidelity, which he admitted upon his resignation.
whats good for the goose is good for the gander. You should practice what you preach.
Please try for once to defend the Repubs without attacking Clinton
Are you against Ray showing the hypocrisy? Democrats argued it didn't matter. It was personal. Isn't a republicans personal life personal too?
Like Ray said, he didn't lie. Plus, he came clean with his wife long before this came public!
We paid for his illegal endeavor, over and over and over, while he gave speeches on morality. He broke the law, cheated on his wife and family, and we paid for his hookers.
When it rains, it pours.......Louisiana style
U.S. Senator David Vitter visited a Canal Street brothel several times beginning in the mid-1990s, paying $300 per hour for services at the bordello after he met the madam at a fishing rodeo that included pros utes and other politicians, according to Jeanette Maier, the "Canal Street Madam" whose operation was shut down by a federal investigators in 2001.

Jeanette Maier, 47, ran a Canal Street brothel where she said Sen. David Vitter was a client.
Looks like Larry Flynt could be responsible for taking down Vitter...
LinkyBATON ROUGE - Hustler magazine has called a press conference for late this afternoon in California to talk about the scandal involving U.S. Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana.
Hustler magazine editor Larry Flynt claimed credit Tuesday afternoon for forcing Vitter to release a highly unusual acknowledgment that his phone number was among 15,000 posted online Monday by accused Washington pros ution ringleader Deborah Jeane Palfrey.

"Given Vitter's strong Christian message and family values campaigning, this has to cons ute the most serious and weighty challenge to his continued effectiveness as a United States senator. I think there's a strong chance he's not going to survive this," Cross said.
Vitter "did the proper thing politically," said pollster Bernie Pinsonat of Baton Rouge. "The smartest thing is to confess and say you've repented and changed your life around. If this is all there is to it, since the election is three years from now, there's a pretty good chance he can overcome it."
"This could be the end of it, or it could be a nightmare - sort of Chinese water torture - as he waits for it to be over," Pinsonat said.
The Rev. Billy McCormack of University Baptist Church, leader of the Louisiana Christian Coalition, said Christians likely would forgive Vitter, a champion of family values.
"Senator Vitter has apologized for his indiscretion and his sins," McCormack said. "Senator Vitter may well be much more able as a senator now than before because people tend to learn from their mistakes when they are responsible. I will continue to support him fervently."
Oh, snap.

Well if any of those folks pays someone to have sex with them then we can discuss their situation ray. Until then can we stick the christian Republican Senator from louisiana?
thanks for your relevant and timely post, Xray. You're a valued member of the team, and your input is important to all of here in the political forum.
Ray is just happy to see them praying for Vitter.
Ray's very religious, you know. When Ray was a kid, he helped nail some guy to a cross.
