I see New England beating San Diego in the AFCCG and Philadelphia beating Seattle in the NFCCG.
New England over Philly in the Superbowl as Belichick collects his fourth le.
The Patriots are the Spurs of the NFL with Belichick equating to Pop as far as coaching skills and abilities. The system works and until Brady either leaves, gets injured or retires the Patriots will always be a threat to win it all.

Stretch, I read the first couple of sentences, and I refuse to read further.

The Patriots advanced last year due to facing a more talented, yet less experienced Chargers team. The game was handed to them by "young team mistakes". A head butt, a terrible 4th and long shot, a fumbled interception etc. Sorry bro, the Patriots were outmatched and will deal with a Charger team that has matured since they last faced them. Any Patriots fan who believes they won because of "coaching skills" "more talent" is living in a dream world. The Patriots simply won because a certain Charger player lost their composure, and certain Charger player fumbled a game winning interception.

With that said................Chargers. By a landslide.
Yet your opinion as a Charger fan should sway others?

They haven't won a super bowl in 2 years and I said Manning has OWNED the Pats the past 2 years (I didn't say several I said few which pretty much means 2 meaning he has played very well against them). Broncos have only lost to Tom Brady ONCE (4-1 including the playoffs) and their starting quarterback (Plummer) at the time was out with an injury and they barley lost that game. Pats have not won a super bowl in over 2 years and they aren't unbeatable like people make them out to be. The road to the superbowl in the AFC goes through Indy. Manning isn't the same player he was during the Pats dynasty and the Pats aren't the team they used to be as well. Paper moves aren't going to make me declare them a lock to win it all. Are they a good/elite team? yeah they will be right in the thick of things. Are they so unbeatable that they won't have any trouble with anybody and should just be given the trophy? NOT EVEN CLOSE! You get y at me for stirring up with you in threads yet you do the same exact thing. BTW the Colts beat the Pats and went onto win the superbowl so they have a right to talk some to the Pats. The Mavs beat the Spurs and CHOKED IN THE FINALS followed by getting their asses kicked in the first round which they haven't recovered from yet. Then again you are the same dumbass who called (and still calls) Tony Parker A FAKE ALL-STAR, unclutch and soft and said how much better Devin Harris is than him as he stepped his game up to an even higher level (something your soft star Irk who can't play defense worth a couldn't do) in the finals winning the MVP. Go break some windows or slash some tires with your Oakland Raider pals.
You obviously are just too full of . I'm not saying they are unbeatable, but saying they are overrated by everyone, despite being the same core that won 3 les in 4 years, with FAR more talent than any of those years, is ing dumb. oh, and if Manning has OWNED the Pats, why do they need the Pats to be full of injuries, and have to win 2 games in the last minute? I hardly consider that OWNING.

Oh, then changing the subject 3 times in the last couple sentences in order to make it look like your post is remotely intelligent, is classic "spursreport" posting. Stick to the subject, numnuts.

well, dont forget, that the game of football is not only a physical game, but a mental game as well. thats what has made the patriots so successful, despite not always being as talented as other teams. in all of their superbowl runs, there was ALWAYS more talented teams (Colts, ans, Eagles, Raiders, Rams, etc...) but they were always mentally stronger, and knew how to make plays at big times, and that is why they were able to become a dynasty. the chargers were more talented last year, but if they cant keep themselves controlled mentally, then that is their own fault. again, another part of football is mimizing your mistakes, while capitalizing on others. no team epitomizes that more than the Patriots.

Oh, ok, so this is a thread about what we HOPE happens, not what we think will happen.

In that case, Broncos over the Cowboys in the Super Bowl by a score of 62-0.
C'mon John....I know that is not at all what you mean.

You wouldn't want the Cowboys to make the playoffs. You would want them to go 0-16 then trade the #1 pick to Denver for the rights to Maurice Clarett.

Patriots beat Jaguars (everyone's sleepin on Jacksonville, that team's got talent out the ass)

    Cowboys beat Saints

    Patriots beat Cowboys

    also...

San Diego won't even make the playoffs, Colts will go 10-6 at best, Jets go 6-10 or worse, Steelers go 5-11 or worse, Jay Cutler has a godawful season and the Broncos suck ass, David Carr will be the starter in Carolina before the season is over, Philly goes 6-10 or worse and McNabb gets benched before the season is over (if he doesn't get hurt first).

I was tempted to pick them as well. I am just not impressed enough with Alex Smith. Frank Gore though, is a monster and that defense will be good. Then again in the NFC, anything is possible.

I just hope it's not the Colts. They play cheap football. They are like the guy you play in Madden who runs no huddle and won't let you pick a defense, or they just hurry up and snap the ball to draw you offsides. I know it's football, but it's a cheap way to win.

I want to see the Bears and Ravens smash eachother up in a 10-7 game in the Super Bowl. The Bears' and Ravens's defense make all others look like choir boys. That is football, not this the Colts do. Plus I don't want to hear them say "Peyton Manning" 500x in one game again like last Super Bowl (official count was 348 times)

    At cheap football.
You do whatever you can to win and what your players allow you to do, if other teams could do what the Colts do, they would. The Pats and Steelers do stuff like the Colts do towards end of games as well, and your probably going to see more teams going with no-huddles and hurry up offenses in the years to come, so you should probably get used to it.
I could say that I thought the Ravens were cheap cause they blitz everytime like people on Madden do as well, but I wont. You do whatever works

Sprinting up to the line just to snap the ball, with no intentions of running a play other than to drive the other team offsides is cheap. I don't care what anyone says. The Pats didn't need to pull that for their Super Bowls. It's cheese

It's Illegal in other sports to do what the Colts do. It would be like Roger Clemens throwing a fastball by a guy who just put his foot in the batters box. It's cheese. Classy teams like the Patriots don't need to do that crap. They play within both the written and unwritten rules of the game. Even NFL players think it is cheap. Joey Porter called them out on it. He said they were scared to line up man for man on them. Even my step dad who played 13 years in the NFL said that teams would knock Peyton Manning out if he tried that bull back in his day.

I dont know when back in the day is, but Peyton was probably bigger thna most defensive guys even 10 years ago, so I dont think he would be getting knocked out seeing as guys now cant knock him out even when they get to him, he is a big, big dude
Porter is a talking who has his posse jump people in clubs and steal their jewelry.
Maybe your right about it being cheap, but the Cowboys had no problems stopping it last year, so I dont see why other teams cant. If a team doesnt like it, stop it, thats my whole thing.
Its like when you hear guys about running up the score, maybe teams dont like it, but if you dont like it, stop it

I don't watch them every game, so I've only seen it like 3 times, but he would just line them up to snap the ball then just throw it away. The whole purpose was to just get the 5 yard penalty. He had no intentions of running a play. A no huddle is one thing, but trying to draw penalties is another. I think that is cheap to just get everyone lined up so you can draw a offsides or a 12 men on the field call.

The Pats are overrated? How could a team that won 3 les in 4 years with pretty much the same team excluding the offseason moves be overrated? Moss, Stallworth,Washington, Welker, Chad Jackson along with Caldwell and Troy Brown are loaded weapons that Tom Brady has NEVER had. Their D got so much better this offseason as well signing Adealis, and drafting that saftey out of Miami. The scary thing is the Pats have never been loaded with this many weapons on all sides of the ball. Not to mention they have the best coach in the NFL in Billicheck. The Pats know superbowls are earned and not given. Dont expect them to think teams will lie down for them and all. They are very well coached. Lay off the hate for once.
