I think I read this in a Simmons article, and I really think it's true. A head case can only become a locker room cancer if he doesn't have another head case to hang out with. As long as SJax stays in Oakland I don't think we would have much to worry about.

Only if he'd be willing to play for free. Even then, the Spurs probably wouldn't be interested.

Patterson would really go against the culture of picking decent guys for the Spurs - yes, we've had Jax and Rodman and Swee' Pea, but Patterson is a registered sex offender! PR disaster IMHO.

Also, his skill set doesn't suit us in that he has no long J.
