mono, you're a fool if you think the Mavs will win less than 50 games. They always give the Spurs a run for the division, and the Spurs usually win high 50s or low 60s for the regular season record.

Seriously, I think Avery learned a lesson about the regular season last year.

On the other hand, I wonder how much of that was a byproduct of that horrible start to the season. He felt he had to crack the whip to turn them around, and then it just became hard to stop. A more even keel will probably help them tremendously.






Maybe they'll be able to push the #8 seed to seven games this year.

seriously though, if we survive the first 3 months, it's gonna be VERY smooth sailing from then on. Nov and Dec have majority of the really tough games....i wonder how Avery will manage things for the duration of the season with this in mind.
