Final Record of 43-39
Well fellas, I say we take it a little tooooo easy in the regular season and barely make the playoffs as a 7 seed. But don't worry, we have ass kick acquisitions like Brandon Bass to keep us alive in the playoffs.
i think now that Cuban and Stern are on kinda good terms, Fuhrer David spared us the embarrassment of getting the kicked out of us right out the gates by Golden State. Instead he's letting a single guy do it.
seriously though, if we survive the first 3 months, it's gonna be VERY smooth sailing from then on. Nov and Dec have majority of the really tough games....i wonder how Avery will manage things for the duration of the season with this in mind.
assuming good health, 55+ wins and a top four seed. Beyond that, who knows.
I would agree that 55 wins seems more likely than 43. WTF mono?
haha i was kidding about that, just trying to wind up the other Mavs fans. I see 55+ too, but I wouldn't be surprised if they fell in the 50-54 range either. anything less than 50 would be a shock.
yeah lets see if we break last year's record of 67 wins and lock up the #1 seed ASAP![]()
Well, if the Mavericks go 63-19 in 2007-08, they'll be tied for the 2nd best 164 game stretch in the history of the NBA -- the 1966-67 and 1967-68 Sixers went 130-34 (68-14 and 62-20). Of course, if the Mavs really want to shoot for the stars, it will only take a 74 win season to match the 164 game stretch of the 1995-96 and 1996-97 Bulls, who went 141-23 (72-10 and 69-13).
There are meaningful records within the Mavericks' reach.
They should schedule all 4 of the Spurs vs Mavericks games after the ASB. No one wants to watch a rivalry game in the first two months of the season.
Better than 40 wins and not making the playoffs
You think so?
Knicks suck. Enough said.
I guess I should have linked back to the stories about the Mavs' best 50-whatever game stretch in professional sports, or whatever that meaningful record was.
Mavs are great.......but still can't win a le. Enough said.
We'll see what happens over the next five years.
History tells us that in the next five years the Mavs will continue choking.
Well, seeing as how I don't have a crystal ball, I don't feel comfortable saying the Grizzlies and Bobcats will never win a le...but since you do, please get in touch with my stockbroker.
52-30 with a first or second round playoff exit
Here's my Kings prediction: 35-47 and picking 11th in the draft. Enjoy that King fan!
I was just ing predicting a ing prediction you ING ASS !! No need to jump on my back you asswhoer, keep on having gay sex with your boy NoBallski and suck my you sucking son of a ING !!!!![]()
