Old school mexican method is menudo and a Tecate (or Carta Blanca).
There's also this soup that they make on the coastal cities in Mexico called "Vulve a la Vida". It's a concoction of squid, octopus, fish heads, and other seafood. It's disgusting, but it will kick your hangovers ass.

Oh damn. That would sound amazing if I were drunk. Not to mention carta blanca is one of my favorite beers in the world after touring the whatever the the name of the brewery is in Monterrey last October.

But, the best beer is "Indio" also made at the same place.

I drank 3 of those one night in L.A. before I had to fly back the next day, and my ass was thoroughly kicked on the flight. The only thing worse than a hangover is a hangover at 35,000 feet.

But I could handle a beer or 12 back in the day as well. Those Pacificos go down nice, but they start fights when they hit the digestive tract.

yeah I think my tolerance has grown in my 10 years of drinking. Looking back I can't believe I wasnt that drunk with all the beer I had last night.
