Anyone buy Madden 08?

It's hands down the best football game for the 360 - I rather enjoy it. You can catch on quickly, I'm still working on understanding some of the features. It is a lot more complex, and the run game has gotten better - though I still can't get the hang of the highlight stick unless I'm using it just for jukes or a stop.

The only thing I care about is if Madden and Michaels are back in the both this year or is it that jerkoff from last year still?

Highlight stick turns into Hit Stick 2.0 ... and that thing is wicked. If you have the hard-hitter safety, you can cause some havoc ... not to mention fumbles.

I don't know, I seemed to have found a quick way to get nice interceptions if I'm reading a quick pass play ... just close everyone in and have all LBs commit to a blitz instead of going zone - I got 5 intercepts last night when I played the Bucs in a SB as the Patriots.

I'm trying to figure out how to activate the "smart" QB and defenders though, haven't gotten that.

And also, let's just say ... a hands receiver and any decent ratings QB = sure fire catch ... if you drop in shotgun and force the hands receiver to just do a straight run - press forward on the left stick and their corresponding button and you'll drop it over their shoulder with a perfect catch normally.

I also can't get the stupid WR mode to activate ... but hey, I didn't get to play till 11pm last night so I'll try some more when I get home.

Last Madden I played was 03 or 04 on the XBox ... and I'm pretty happy with this one.
