Is there still a large modding community for Madden?
That's the reason I love the PC versions. I remember downloading very detailed, high resolution images for stadiums with the true advertisements on the walls and scoreboards for MVP Baseball.

I was gonna get it for ps3 also but just read on gamespot.com that the frame rate is worse on ps3 than 360. How is that even possible? Isn't the ps3 suppose to be all mighty compared to 360?

Anyways, I am saving my cash for Halo 3. 60 bucks a game is a killer.

I work for a video game publisher, and based on every game I've seen on the two, that is the absolute standard. I have never seen a game that came out on both systems within a couple of months of each other that had as good of a frame rate or graphics on the PS3 when compared to the X360. It holds true for every game I've seen in development also. It has a lot to do with the PS3 splitting its memory into two pools that are very expensive to move data between. Development cost and time is unreal for the PS3 compared to the X360.

In another post I had suggested that we have a GTG, a " Madden GTG" if you will. We could have a tournament, a season, whatever! The response wasn't good, so what do ya'll think?
I got it - said that in the thread yesterday. I managed to unlock 25 of the 48 achievements in just 3 games - THREE!
I think that's a bit ridiculous ... and man, the Pats are so f'in OPed against the Rookie CPU.

how is the Ps3 online interface, is it better than the ps2? Can anyone compare Xbox live to the ps3 online?

Is madden actually good this year for the 360
PS3 version runs at only 30fps (at max.) If you have the choice between getting the 360 or PS3 version, you should pick the 360 one up.
There's no difference between either version except that FPS issue - and it does cause noticable slowdowns.
It's hands down the best football game for the 360 - I rather enjoy it. You can catch on quickly, I'm still working on understanding some of the features. It is a lot more complex, and the run game has gotten better - though I still can't get the hang of the highlight stick unless I'm using it just for jukes or a stop.
