Yeah, it would be nice if every team acted as if there were no luxury tax, but only one does.

    And that team sucks.

Yep, and as you so adroitly pointed out, the Spurs are doing just fine in that regard.

He doesnīt.He just canīt stand too many argentinians playing for S.A.thatīs all.
too bad coze S.A is gonna miss the Argies if theyīre ever gone from S.A.
But I donīt see that happening, Pop is way too smart for that.

I'd have been excited about getting Scola, and most Spurs fans would have been excited to get him. He's a good guy and a good player. He is also a low post power forward who, while a good inside scorer and defensive rebounder, isn't a very good defender, and there's a pretty decent power forward on the team already. The reality is that he might not have fit into the Spurs' system, and Udoka addresses a specific need, in both position and specialty. I'd rather have Oberto, Udoka and Splitter. The sooner Mahinmi becomes NBA ready, the less that trade stings.
bwhahahahahah ok, you take Oberto who's Scola's backup and we'll take the real deal.

    again.

Pop, Buford and many Spursfan think that Splitter'll fit great in the Spurs, better than Scola.
Because our systems and schemes favor the role players like Oberto or Splitter. For star in the paint we have Tim.
But Pop, RC don't know much bsk and they're mistaken always...4 rings are nothing.

Because I've watched him play since before he was drafted. Look, Rocketfans think he can play the three, so they are automatically excluded from any real conversation about his potential as a Spur. Most Argies are not real Spurfans and still butthurt about the Falklands so they are also excluded. What does that leave? Folks like me. I wish Scola well, but he simply wasn't what the Spurs needed. Scola is a fine player. He can do well in this league, but he's much better suited for an Adelman team than a Popovich team.
