How many teams remaining on the Patriots' schedule other than the Colts even have a shot at winning a game? If Belichick is going to gameplan to blow out teams and run up the score, opposing defensive coordinators should be making sure his players pay for it.

Although the players have emotions they can't plan on being dirty. They surely can be physical (which is what the skins did) but it means you have the personnel to be physical, which isn't the case for many teams we have on the remainder of the season (except the steelers and Giants who by the way will be more focused on winning rather than inflicting injuries)

On a side note, how can you plan on hitting players you can't catch when you're out of position or because of their talent.
I think it's easier said than done.

I've seen bad things in the NFL, but I refuse to believe that there is a professional player who might be oversensitive and injure his fellow because of the score.
This isn't high school when you have kids who can't take it when someone is better (or can't understand it) so you have to prevent that.

Both teams are pretty evenly matched. The Patriots no longer hold a mental edge, and it's ludicrous to suggest that the Colts have any mental edge on NE. If anything, the Colts have the edge because they're playing at home, but that's a pretty small edge. Do you even ing watch football?

Also, please show me where I've campaigned for Pats players to get injured. I said opposing DBs should start getting rough with them just so the Pats players know full well that they're going to make them feel every yard they earn. I said get rough and commit some penalties, not break Brady's leg. It's classless and low to openly campaign for professional athletes to be injured during a game. I definitely wouldn't wish that on Colts players. But if the Patriots are going to play NFL games with no class and keep the Brady Bunch on the field in the 4th quarter with an insurmountable lead, then they're almost asking for the other team to hurt their players.

The terms of the sig bet are not predicated on who we actually pick to win the game. The terms are if the Pats win, I get a gay Belichick sig, and if the Colts win I will collaborate with other Colts fans on this board and come up with something extra special for mono.

Common sense leads you to believe mono will pick the Pats and I'll pick the Colts, but if he wants try for the reverse jinx and pick the Colts, I'm not holding it against him.

I said Belichick is practically asking for his players to get hurt by playing them long after he has to. I am not campaigning for NFL players to injure each other, but something along the lines of how the Pats started playing dirty when they knew they were going to lose to the Broncos in the 2005 playoffs would be nice to see from Pats opponents in Week 10-17.
