The Spurs have a lot of 30-35 players. That is old in NBA terms, but many players in the past have won championships and played at the highest level at that age.

I'd say since true age of a team lies with the age of their best player...if he's old, they're old.

I think a solution to this problem is to sign Allan Houston, it will lower our average by like 1 or 2. Then maybe we will be second oldest, and people can stfu!
The age factor could hurt the Spurs if not managed properly. Pop seems to have a handle on this issue. He has a feel for his players. He has been limiting TD's minutes for several years now. I remember when Flip Saunders was told a couple of years ago that TD was averaging around 33 minutes a game and he was incredulous about that. That is like sitting out up to 10 games a year approximately (based on 38 mpg). Same with Manu and everyone knows about Horry. Come playoff time we'll see what damage if any the age factor has done to the Spurs during the course of this year.

But the three most important Spurs are right in their primes (actually, one is just entering his).
The man who makes the entire Suns' system work is at the age where great PGs have been known to see their game fall off a cliff at any point.
to get a TRUE representation of how old a team is, you need to weight each players age by minutes he plays per game

I think its funny everyone is quick to point out the spurs' age, but then I was watching a Suns' game and saw Steve Nash wrapped up laying on the floor and I was thinking well at least our best player doesn't look that old.
