No to be rude, but what nationality are you? I don't think you have mastered the english language. Nearly all of your posts I dont quite understand.
He's Greek, and obviously English is not his first language. It can be a little hard to understand, re-reading it a couple of times usually works for me.

I don't have a problem with his English, it's the substance of his posts that often makes me go "WHAT???"

Given that the Spurs have been the forefront of bringing international players to the NBA for as long as they have, this is a surprise because ... ?

As a few has said already, this really makes me wonder about the coaching and medical staff they have out there in Phoenix. When I heard he was coming back that quickly from getting his knee scoped my first reaction was, "Damn this guy's superhuman." Now I'm wondering if maybe the Suns and Amare were starting to believe the same thing.

The thing I'm left wondering is why D'Antoni is riding his starters so hard in this season of all seasons. Barring Steve Nash spontaneously combusting they've got a cake walk to a division le. You know the Spurs aren't going to have the pedal down the entire season, and while the jury is still out on the Mavs doing the same thing, with the SW division looking so good I have my doubts they'll be posting 65 wins this season. I really shouldn't wonder too much because the simple answer is that Mike is as stubborn as mule and probably as good of a coach as one.

It's been said many a time by fans of other teams that no one outside of S.A. likes the Spurs.

It's not his micro knee, so he should be fine. Just some precautionary stuff, he looked pretty ty against Los Angeles, only settling for jumpers. I still wish that we traded him for KG, but that has little to do with his health, and a lot more to do with KG's work ethic and defense.
Well if this is true then that's straight. I would never wish injury on anyone. Come back fully healthy Amare!!!

Very true, but only by those who are too stupid to come up with anything legit to complain about.

People are too influenced by the media telling what should be considered "fun" and telling them that the Spurs are "boring" that they start to believe the hype even though they have never actually sat down and watched a Spurs game. Plus, nobody likes a team who wins on the regular.

Exactly. Most fans think its about getting on SportsCenter and not about getting a trophy.

There are. Unless you ask a couple of Suns fans who post on this site.

Too bad for Amare. I really enjoy watching him play with Nash. Actually it's Nash that makes Amare what he is. Hope he gets better and returns. No excuses accepted.

Any word on how he's doing today?

Edit: Nevermind, I just read that he'll probably sit out the next game against the Cats.

For people mentioning the "excuse" angle, let me just say it's done. Losers make excuses, period. They always have on in their back pocket, regardless of the situation. Amare hurt, healthy... Grant hurt, healthy... suspensins, refs, mean crowd... it doesn't matter. If they are "losers" in the real sense, they wil always have an excuse ready for you.

I don't know what the Greek stereotypes are so I won't accuse you of anything, but the part with the watermelon in reference to Amare is so racially bad... but funny.

Even though I think Amare represents a lot of the traits I find annoying about the NBA (immaturity, focus on stats and flash above winning, egotistical, loud, etc.), there is no getting away from the fact that he is a rare talent and anyone gloating or wishing bad on him is a moron.

Calm down dude, i don't think Spurs fans are gloating or wishing bad things over Amare as a player & a person, but indeed we DESPISE his team with caps -such annoying whiney team & fanbase.

The coach with 3 first names is an idiot. He does not care if he wears out his players and evidently he is a doctor too?

PHOENIX, Nov. 5 (AP) -- Swelling in Amare Stoudemire's right knee could sideline him for the second game in a row when the Phoenix Suns begin a four-game road trip Tuesday night at Charlotte.

"It all depends on how I feel,'' Stoudemire said after the Suns practiced on Monday. "If I feel good tomorrow, then I'll play. If not, then I'll sit it out. There's no pressure being put on me by the staff or the trainers.''

Stoudemire watched film, lifted weights and did some shooting while his teammates practiced. He sat out Phoenix's 103-92 victory over Cleveland on Sunday. The all-star forward had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Oct. 2.

He missed virtually all the 2005-06 season after microfracture surgery on his left knee. The latest surgery was considered minor, and Stoudemire had come back strong before the swelling occurred.

Coach Mike D'Antoni said he was not concerned about any long-term impact.

"Maybe it's just a normal thing, just a little too much activity, maybe,'' D'Antoni said. "Whatever it is, with a couple of days' rest, he'll be fine.''

Stoudemire, the only player to appear in all 82 regular-season Suns games last season, said he is taking a cautious approach.

"It's early, I've got a long career,'' he said. "You can't win a championship in November, but you can lose one, you know what I'm saying? I just want to make sure I take my time and get back right so I'm able to go to war with these guys the next few months.''
