Uh oh.

Amare is out with knee problems - the knee that they operated on a month ago. Hopefully he'll get better; I'd hate to hear Suns fans use this as another excuse.
I think no rebounding and no interior defense are going to be the excuse this year.
Ilgauskas is romping in PHX tonight.
Season isn't even a week old and Amare's knees are already a problem. This does not bode well for Phoenix. Without Amare, they're toast.
yeah especially with them trading kurt thomas away
I was going to say grant hill was going to get hurt first for the suns now amare
Suns should have tried to make a deal with the Timberwolves. Amare and somebody else for KG.
They did. Minnesota wisely (with his knee history) didn't bite. PHO shopped both Amare and Matrix this summer, and it was a source of curiosity as to how it would affect their play.
You'd hate for them to use the potential loss of their best, or 2nd best, player as an excuse?
How about Amare & the Matrix for KG? Well, I guess it's history anyway...
yeah, i can D'antoni and the band of whiners lobbying this now..
2007 was their last shot.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Damn... the dude has said some bad things about us... but i hope he gets back to 100%... hes so talented and real fun to watch.. good luck to him
With Amare bad knees Spurs has the knife and slice of the watermelon against Suns!
The Suns always rush their players back. It's sad.
Just a couple of days into the season and already Amare is "overworked"? I think both Amare and the coaching staff have been far too aggressive in terms of wanting him to play ASAP. You'd think they would err on the side of caution and take it easy but it seems both player and team were trying o prove something.. plain silly if you ask me. So let' see what happens. Amare (recurring knee problems), Hill (foot/back concerns), Nash (back issue).. all of a sudden Shawn Marion's value to the team increases overnight and letting Kurt Thomas go seems really dumb.. no way the Suns are going to be quicker this year.
As for Amare, i hope he grows up quickly and realizes that he's not as invincible as he thinks.
I'd hate for them to have a ready-made excuse yet again; I'd hate the fact that they'll swear up and down "If we only had Amare" like they did this past year. "If we only had Amare in that one game, we certainly would have won a le." I don't want them to have anything to hide behind. I want to face them full-force in the playoffs, humiliate them yet again, and I don't want them to have anything that helps them hide in their own minds from the realization that they are complete failures, always have been, and probably will be for the forseable future.
If Suns fans were to say, "if Amare had been healthy, who knows?" that's one thing, it's a legitimate question. That's not what Suns fans claim, however. Their claim until the end of time (despite evidence to the contrary) will be "if Amare had been healthy, we definitely would have won everything, because the Suns are the best team in history (we just can't ever prove it or provide reasonable evidence). "
It's not his micro knee, so he should be fine. Just some precautionary stuff, he looked pretty ty against Los Angeles, only settling for jumpers. I still wish that we traded him for KG, but that has little to do with his health, and a lot more to do with KG's work ethic and defense.
I see D'Antoni played his bench a whopping 39 minutes tonight.
Granted, Amare was out and granted they had a tough game against Cleveland, but if Smilin' Mike thinks that the solution to a starter being out is to play Grant Hill 40 minutes, they've got another burnout coming.
Skinner played very well and he should have gotten more mintues, but you got to expect guys playing major minutes when one of our starters is out. But I'd definitely like to see Grant down to 30, Trix down to 40, Bell and Nash down to 35, and for MD to distribute those remaining minutes among Diaw, Barbs, and Marcus.
hopefully the suns team jet crashes in the arizona desert somewhere..put em out of their misery now..
No to be rude, but what nationality are you? I don't think you have mastered the english language. Nearly all of your posts I dont quite understand.
Funny that was my first thought. But it's a gut feeling, so the question is do they really?
Amare played great last season after microfracture surgery so I am not worried. The Suns are doing the right thing by not playing him in the regular season unless he is at full strength. They learned that lesson already.
